Three weeks later
"Here we are.." she said as Bucky pulled into her parents house.
Ralph and Jennifer came out the front door. Lucas got out of the backseat and went up to them.
"My boy. You keep growing you are going to be taller than your mama." Ralph said
"Maybe then people will stop thinking we are brother and sister." Lucas said as he went inside.
Ansleigh and Bucky made their way up to the porch.
"My little squirt." Ralph said as he hugged her.
"Hey dad, mom..this is my boyfriend James. James this is my dad Ralph and my mom Jennifer." She said
"Pleasure to meet you Mr and Mrs Matthews." Bucky said as he shook both hands.
"I like this one. You can call me Ralph." Ralph said
"And you can call me Jenni. Let's get you two settled." Jenni said
Ansleigh took him upstairs to her old bedroom and sat their stuff down. Lucas was already outside in the guest house playing Xbox. They joined her parents downstairs.
"So who all is going to be at Easter dinner tomorrow?" She said
"Your siblings. Of course your daddy's parents are coming in they'll be staying in the guest house. And my parents..and your aunt Melinda is in town with your cousin Delaney..who just had a baby. And your other cousins Mabel and Margot." Jenni said as she poured two glasses of wine as Ralph gave Bucky a Heineken.
"Great..just what I need Delaney." She said
"What's wrong with Delaney?" Bucky said
"Delaney my niece..is one of the many girls that sperm donor bastard cheated on Annie with. Delaney is one of the main reasons why she decided to go live with my parents cause they started dating officially." Ralph said
"And then of course he moved and dumped Delaney after six months of long distance." Jenni said
They heard the front door open.
"Hello..Gigi pop pop." They heard a little voice say
"In the kitchen." Jenni said
They heard what sounded like a stampede come through. And suddenly little kids appeared.
"Auntie Annie!"
"Hey you little tiny things." Ansleigh said
"That's Marcus and Oliver my brother's two boys. And these three belong to my sister. This is Delilah, Raelynn and Nathaniel." She said as her siblings came in with their significant others.
"This is my sister Raegan and her husband Colby, and my brother Jasper and his wife Hannah. Guys this is my boyfriend James." She said
"Nice to meet you all. And you both have beautiful families." He said
"Thank you.." Raegan said
"It's about baby sister brings someone home. Where's Luke?" Jasper said
"The guest house.." she said as he hugged her.
A few hours later Beatrice and Elliot joined them. The next day they all headed over to Jennifer's parents house.
"Grandma Junie and Grandpa George this is my boyfriend James." She said
"Boyfriend.." Junie said
"Pleasure to meet you both Mr and Mrs Hardin." Bucky said
George saw his granddaughter's face. "Nice to meet you James. It's good to see you Ansleigh..and Luke." George said
"Thanks." Ansleigh said
"Lovely to meet you James. Good to know that she has finally put herself back out there again." Junie said
"Thanks grandma." Ansleigh said
"Annie!! Oh my god Annie look at you! And this boy of yours Lucas you are looking so grown up. And who is this? Look this is my baby." Delaney said without stopping to take a breathe.
"Hello Delaney. This is my boyfriend as in no you can't have him James. James this is the infamous Delaney." She said
"Hello Delaney." He said
"Nice to meet you." Delaney said
"So you had a baby. Where's the dad?" Ansleigh said
"Oh we aren't together it was a one time thing..but this is my daughter Arya. She's three weeks old." Delaney said
"That's good. Well I'm gonna go see the rest of the family." Ansleigh said and walked off.
"Well shes intense." Bucky said in her ear which made her laugh.
The rest of the day went off without anymore problems. Jenni walked over to her mom.
"Still think she's a cold bitch?"
"She seems happier I'll give her that." Junie said
"Atleast she isn't Delaney." Ralph said as he joined them.
