"What rules, Jungkook? There are no rules", you said fixing your hair, "you told me not to kiss anybody else and I didn't. You can't stop me from making new friends."

You gave him a challenging look and you saw how he slowly realised that you were right. He scrunched his nose cutely when he snorted in defeat.

"Okay, fine. Maybe I overreacted", he said flipping his hair backwards, "but I can't stand seeing you with other men. It drives me crazy."

"But why?", you asked curiously.

"Because I know what they're thinking when they look at you", he replied shrugging and grabbed his backpack.

"What makes you so sure that you know their thoughts?", you asked lifting an eyebrow and followed him outside the lecture room like nothing ever happened.

"Because I'm having the same thoughts", he admitted with a smirk.

"Really? I thought you'd be less superficial", you scowled smacking his arm playfully, "I'm very disappointed."

"What did you expect?", he said laughing, "now go to the bathroom. I'll be waiting in the car for you. Don't play tricks on me and go home by yourself or something. I swear I'll fvck the living daylights out of you so you won't be able to walk for a week."

"Woah, okay chill out, big guy", you said chuckling, "I'll be there."

But before you could turn away and go into the other direction to use the bathroom he wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you into a kiss.

At first you were a little taken aback because you didn't expect to show affection so openly towards you when you weren't doing the nasty.

But then you melted into the kiss and softly kissed him back caressing his cheek with the palm of your hand.

"I'll see you, babe", he said breaking the kiss and walked away leaving you flustered with red cheeks.

This kiss was different. It was passionate yet very gentle. But it also felt like he tried to convey something with it. Or claim you.

You pushed those thoughts away and made your way to the bathroom. When you left the university building and approached his car at the parking lot he was already waiting for you.

"What took you so long?", he asked starting the engine as you hopped in. You didn't answer and just rolled your eyes.

"But real talk now, do you really only think of the one thing when you look at me?", you asked interested looking out of the window.

"Yes", he answered dodging your smack and quickly said, "I'm joking. I'm joking. Of course not. You're my best friend, you are so much more than only a woman to me."

You stayed silent waiting for him to finish what he wanted to tell you.

"You are very funny to be around and I like spending time with you, just goofing around like five year olds", he said smiling fondly, "and you are also very creative like you would come up with the craziest idea over night and then come to me so we can do them together. I love that, it never gets boring with you."

You were really touched by his words. You were good friends but you never really talked about what you cherish in each other

"And I also really like your freaky side I grew to know of in the last two weeks", he added chuckling making you blush but also laugh with him.

"Well, all I can say is that I really like spending time with you too and I'm grateful you're always there for me", you said shyly.

"And also... that I really..."

Yea, what?

The words were on the tip of your tongue but saying them out loud would mean you had to admit in front of yourself that you had developed serious feelings for him.

And the consequences that would come with that... you were scared that speaking your mind would result in the end of your friendship.

He did imply that he liked you too saying things like you were his girl or that he'd be your first boyfriend but you weren't sure if he was just playing you.

He always said those things in the heat of the moment, especially when he was so protective or even possessive of you.

You decided to just keep your mouth shut.

The risk of losing him and getting your heart broken by him was too high.

"... I just really like having someone to do all that crazy stuff with", you made up a quick stupid, different sentence.

"I'm glad you do", he said winking and pulled up in front of your house.

"Thank you for taking me home", you said and got out of the car, "see you." You shut the door and waved at him goodbye like a toddler which made him chuckle shaking his head as he drove off.

You went inside your house and took off your jacket. After eating a bite and watching two episodes of your favourite series you finally realised that you had left your phone in Jungkook's car.

You groaned and rolled off your bed to go downstairs and put on your jacket so you could walk the distance to his house and get your phone.

It wasn't far but it was quite a bit to walk there. Maybe he could drive you back in return for not reminding you that you had left your phone on the car seat.

You rang the doorbell to ask him if he could quickly unlock his car so you could retrieve your phone. You waited shortly before the door was opened up.

By no other than Rachel. Your jaw dropped when she appeared in the doorway with tousled hair and swollen lips.

"Oh, hi, Y/N", she greeted you in a cheery voice and smiled at you, "what is it?"

"What are you doing here?", you asked perplexed, the question leaving a bitter taste on your tongue, "where's Jungkook?"

"Babe?", he asked turning around the corner coming from upstairs, only wearing boxers.

"Don't you dare call me babe", you managed to say through gritted teeth.

This scene hurt you more than you thought it would. He was fooling around with her, you knew it. What else did you expect... just maybe after all you did and he said, that he'd change?

"What's going on?", Rachel asked looking from your frantic face to Jungkook's.

"I think you should go", Jungkook said towards her in a stern voice.
