["Thoughts of Nightmare / Palette" AU= Alternative Universe
Warnings: Bad intentions, Manipulation, Cussing, sickness, mention of poisoning, Nightmare's hateful comments about Dream and Ink.]
Nightmare was awakened by Palette's sickness, reminding him that technically this was still his life...
"If this crap doesn't let me sleep at least, I should spend this time usefully!" ignoring the pain and dizziness, he forced himself into a sitting position. Then he started to continue writing the manipulation letters. Coughing fit and dizziness bothered him at times.
When Dream came into the room, was surprised to see Palette as in his first coughing fit was surrounded by healing magic, if trying to heal himself... Only this time much more conscious!
– Palette – addressed gently. Palette visibly exhausted turned to him, with an emotionless expression. Dream shuddered now to but took strength over himself. – It seems that healing magic can help you a little bit, so I thought you wanted to learn it? I'm sure you can help many with it in the future! – with his usual positivity.

"Expectations! Couldn't you have kept your stupid ideas to yourself at least once? It's so annoying as he and Ink expect me to be the hero, they think they are! Meanwhile they have no idea what kind of damage they are causing! Well, it's partly my fault for, even playing on it! I can't wait to see their faces when they'll face it, what they known about me all this time, was just a role!" smiled darkly to himself.
– Sounds good! Would you teach me? – Palette with a faint smile. Even now there was no trace of his dark thoughts.
– Of course, I teach you everything I can! – Dream proudly. Palette while fight, with the side effects, tried to master what Dream taught him. And Dream patiently taught him. – In addition to the magical method, there are many healing tools, herbs and bandages that you may want to learn to use – explained Dream.
"He's really learned a lot since then!" Nightmare thought proudly. The lesson continued for a while before Dream sent him to rest. Nightmare waited while Dream left before continuing to write the letters.
