Goth and Palette slept holding each other's hands, while in the dream world they nestle together in the middle of one of the giant flowers. In the middle of the night, Ink crept in through the door left open with murderous intent and raised his weapon with emotionless eyes ready to kill the child of death.

Star released him from the dream world with a reluctant sigh, sensing Ink's presence

Star released him from the dream world with a reluctant sigh, sensing Ink's presence. Error/Goth calmly woke up and looked into the cold eyes of Ink who was trying to end his life. Ink's grip tightened on his weapon as a pair of purplish silver eyes appeared in the darkness. Sitting up sideways and never letting go of his chosen one's hand, he turned towards him with an understanding and bitter smile.

Ink instinctively took a step back when he moved and watched in shock as he embraced his murder attempt with his arms outstretched. The look on his face reminded him of Error, who often made a face like this when their talked about their fights, as if they were inevitable and necessary. He was never angry because of the wounds he caused him, he was like someone who understood and accepted the reason for their enmity.

Ink didn't understand and now he wanted answers in vain... Following the memory of Error, he burst into silent tears, his black tears left a mark like a river on his face. His weapon disappeared almost without a sound and he threw himself into the offered embrace. Goth patted him on the back with a faint smile, comforting him in a soft voice.

– It's okay – he whispered, clearly seeing the red strings that had lost their strength because of Ink emotional breakdown. – You worry about him and want to protect him, that's natural – Error/Goth giving understandable reasons for your understanding. – My aura triggers and makes you restless – he continued, reassuringly with half-truths. His words echoed faintly in the grieving Ink's mind. The dark aura that rested around them like a foreign and menacing yet calm vortex, that was completely different from Error's destructive aura that threatened to tear apart everything in existence with a sparking hunger. Ink didn't know when the sharp destructive aura became comforting and why the ghostly and harsh presence of the vortex of death was so different.
