["#Thoughts of Error / Goth#"

Warnings: A dark mention-level thought, loss, mistrust and restlessness.]

Error/Goth learned to walk relatively quickly and ran around enjoying the freedom of movement. Books have become a faithful and easily accessible hobby, which he begin to appreciate with new eyes within its limited situation.

Having mastered shorter sentences and smaller crafts such as folding, they also became part of his life. He was still not used to their love, his new name and life, but he began to return the care of his parents. For his parents, his gestures were treasures. Due to his young age, he couldn't really leave the Save screen and only saw the world through pictures and portals in this life, if his personal presence during coding had not been necessary, he would not have been disturbed by the logical decision.

Despite the disapproval, Reapertale was the safest, where they were feared enough and had enough superficial supporters alongside the honest few who were understanding. When they were in Reapertale, he always stayed close to his parents and scared the Gods. He didn't even have to try hard, a demonic smile or a dark and menacing look was enough. And for the most part, they couldn't even prove Goth's demonic nature by the time others would have noticed him, his expression changed to an inquisitive child. Because of their paranoia, they could not prove anything despite the how many he frightened. They deserved worse for their attitude and ingratitude towards Reaper.

It was unfair and hypocritical how much Grim was liked while Reaper was despised just because he was responsible for collecting the souls who died a painful death.

It's not like he chose how they died

It's not like he chose how they died. Many would not even be able to comprehend all the horrors they were exposed to... After touching the scythe of death, others can gain insight and in a better case they went mad before they killed themselves. Error, like Reaper himself, was so used to the sight of gruesome death that he was already immune to what the scythe had shown him. Compared to the collapses of the Multiverse, the grotesque image of haunted souls tied to scythes was a peaceful landscape for him. These souls hungrily chased anyone into madness and cruel death, blindly mirroring their own terrible fate. Consuming consciousness wasn't nearly as difficult task when exposed to the right traumas... But there were always those who, have risen as stronger phoenixes like Nightmare, who has inspired so many with his darkness.
