Soooo this is my first official author's announcement -ish cause I'm not a big fan of taking up a whole chapter to announce stuff cause you came here for the story, not for me. But I think I need to say this to y'all hoping for an update.
So many of you may not know that I have other written stuff as well. And by other stuff, I mean a whole ass chaptered story that had been abandoned by me because I'm simply more invested in CxJay. My biased ass is too simple-minded. I can't write multiple stories at one time because I find it difficult to shift between writing styles and POV. Soooo I decided to finish the other chaptered story first because it's more further along with the story, and it requires less research on my part because the setting and the storyline are more contained. If you've noticed with my CxJay fanfic, there a lot of settings and setup that need research to make it more realistic and pleasant to our reading experience. (Yes, I read my stuff too. Mainly because my story is the only one that exists for CxJay Huhuhuh)
Soooo this is an announcement to say that I will be taking some time off from my beloved 'Like the Water That Sustains Me'. But not to worry, I WILL be back. And then, I will be able to focus my (short) attention on it. Hehehehe. And I trust Jenesais_2000 and y'all to whoop my ass to shape and remind me of my shortcomings. Hehehehe
Soooo, I hope even with this little setback, you, my lovely readers, can wait for CxJay and come along with their journey with me. Huhuhuh please, please, pretty please.
But when I'm back, I'll delete this chapter and replace it with the update, so this little setback won't interfere with your reading experience. Hehehe
