"Khun Tan? Khun Sichanta is asking if we can move the meeting to this Friday? Neo just informed me they have an emergency overseas and he can't come back to Thailand not until Friday. He has to supervise the renovation personally," Jay said.

C clicks his tongue in annoyance and presses the heel of his palms on his closed eyes to relieve the tension.

They both have been pushing every appointment early, so they've been working overtime. Since the start of the week, they have meetings as early as 6 AM, ending until 11 PM, and they've only had a total of 18 hours of sleep in 5 days.

They're both used to this, but Khun C seems to be agitated and more stressed. Like he needs something finished before an important event. And he has no idea what it is yet. He tried asking, so he can offer solutions and options, but every single time, his older boss just stays quiet and goes back to work. With flustered ears. Quite unusual indeed.

Amidst his thoughts, he sees Khun Tan knead his shoulder and brings his arms up to stretch. He immediately goes behind the older man's chair and says,

"Let me massage your shoulders, Khun Tan" and waits for the approval.

And when he does get it, he starts to massage the other's broad shoulders. Pressing and clenching the tension on the area where the neck meets the shoulder. The material of the suit jacket, a little thick and hard to get through, but Jay is used to it and just presses harder.

He used to take lessons on massage therapy as a preparation for these types of situations. He knows it's not part of his job description, but he did it willingly. And he wants to be properly equipped when needed. He wants to help out in any way, anywhere he can.

He goes to the sides, pressing on his biceps and triceps, hitting tension points, moving back to the center, then down on the back. And it's when he presses harder on the line of hard muscles and tense skin, that the older male leans his head back, and- "Ugh."

A groan.

Jay bites his lips in the surprising showcase of vulnerability. Khun C groans again and half-consciously says, "You always give the best massages. When did you even learn to do that?"

Jay smiles and pats his back, in his mind. He knew those therapy classes would come in handy.

He instead comments, "You've been buried with work, Khun Tan. With your permission, I will go to some of your subsidiary meetings instead. I won't make any decision on my own, I'll relay everything to you, and do my best to follow through with your instructions."

Khun Tan straightens his back, all of a sudden.

Jay stops massaging and pulls his hands like it was caught on fire. He bows his head down and waits to be reprimanded. But instead, he sees the chair turn and is met with brown leather shoes, matched with royal blue trousers.

"No need. I know you'll do well but you already have so much on your plate. Besides, it's faster if I attend the meetings anyway. I can directly decide what to do next, then having you relay everything to me. Saves time that way," the other says.

Jay looks up and politely smiles at the older male. "Understood, Khun Tan"

And is replied with the hint of the smallest, most handsome smile on the other's unsuspecting lips.

Jay was able to hold his shock until Khun C turned back around.

Jay held his chest with his right hand and rubs it to calm his erratic heart. Another of those rare smiles to file and treasure.

But he's brought out of his Khun-Tan-induced daze, when the older male murmurs, "Also, that way I know where you are all the time. You might try to escape and go to that Jirayu, again. Or our staff personnel you like to talk to."

Jay smiles, brimming, behind his hand and tramples it down when he walks back to his place on the chair by the table.

'I don't understand why people think Khun Tan is heartless. He's just hard to trust people. And I'm lucky enough to be someone he trusts.' Jay thinks.

'I'll do my best. Khun Tan's trust should not be betrayed' Jay thinks once more.

He starts opening new emails, and messages from their partners. Answering ones he can answer himself, and lists down those that need approval from his boss, when-

"About Sichanta. What time did he say he's arriving in Thailand?" Khun C asks. Looking at him through his glasses.

Jay remembers the message, and replies "He said he's arriving approximately at 6 AM and wants to have the meeting at 10."

Khun C purses his lips in contemplation and says, "Alright. Tell him we'll meet him at 6 PM. We cannot reschedule everything for him. And after the meeting we're flying straight to Railay, so reschedule the tickets for 11 PM. And the meetings for Saturday will be done by Siwakorn. Inform him on Friday."

Jay takes notes of everything and nods along. He sets a reminder for the reply email, and for reminding Solo about the meeting.

While he was jotting down Khun C asks, "Have you already packed for Saturday?"

"Not yet Khun Tan. But I'm about to do that tonight because we'll be even busier in the next few days," Jay answers.

Khun C nods and- "Never mind. We'll arrange everything in Railay," he answers without looking up from his papers.

Jay nods but slows down in confusion, and thinks, 'Where can I buy suits in Railay?' and sets a reminder to google for shops that sell suits and shoes in the area.
