"That concludes our meeting. Thank you all for coming," C remarks.

The 3-hour long meeting is finally over. It was just 3 hours of arguing between what interior design to go with, trying to make sense of his notes with all the changes and secret sips of water in between.

It was the end of the week, and their week-long overtime has finally seemed to have an end. But it never really actually ends. They have to fly to Railay Beach that same night for an event or a business appointment tomorrow. He's just not sure what it is yet.

"If you have any clarification on the statistics or the reports, please email me and I'll send you a copy of the presentation," Jay tells Khun Sichanta's secretary, Neo. He makes sure the older male is already out of the room before approaching the young secretary.

"Oh please don't mind if I do then," the other male answers and winks at him.

Jay has always liked Neo. He's very efficient, very good at his job, but not a stuck-up. He's the easiest to talk to with all the secretaries he's encountered. And if there's one other person he considers a friend in Thailand, it's Neo.

They engage in some more conversation when Khun C goes back into the meeting room and calls for him, "Jay, let's go."

Jay abruptly stands up but wais at Neo and mutters a sorry. He brings his phone up to signal to contact him later, and the other male nods and winks again.

Everyone in the meeting hall slowly packed their handouts and reports, as C and Jay exited the room to go back to the main office. This is the last meeting for the day, and Jay feels like his eyes are about to roll out of his head, or shut down then and there. Khun C too looked like he needed a nap. Or to hibernate.

"Sing, get the car," C instructs.

"Yes, Khun Tan," Sing agrees and walks out.

Jay settled on the couch in the middle of the room, while Khun C walks towards his table.

"I should've agreed on the 10 AM. I forgot that he can be that stubborn," C says.

Jay doesn't want to aggravate the man more so he chooses to smile and nod along.

C takes his jacket off and unbuttons the first few of his shirt. Jay steals a glance here, while he answers emails, and there, and makes notes on things he needs to do for the next few weeks. And glances again, seeing the older folding his sleeves while he fills in meetings and appointments in their schedule, and setting up reminders for things he needs to do at home.

"Are you friends with Sichanta's secretary?" C asks.

Jay looks up and looks at the older male. He is propped, leaning back on the table, and Jay is liking the lines of muscles straining on the older man's forearms as he folds it to his chest.

'Totally unrelated to the situation, Jay. Focus' Jay thinks

And when he's about to answer, a knock comes on the door.

"The car is ready Khun Tan, Khun Jay," Sing says.

"Thanks, Sing. Please take Khun Tan to his room. Drive safe," Jay answers.

He continues writing his notes when he sees a shadow looming over him. "You're going with me," says Khun C.

Jay leans back on his seat and looks up at the older man.

"Is there something wrong, Khun Tan? Anything you need? I'll get it for you," Jay says.

Khun C shakes his head and repeats, "You're coming with me."
