U.A Entrance Exams

Deep mumbling was all Rimuru could hear. "So today's the day, huh?". Rimuru cut off Izuku by addressing the main topic.

"Oh, ah, yes... I did it again, didn't I?" Izuku replied, embarrassed to say the least.

"Ahahaha, no worries." Comforted Rimuru, "It's actually making me feel less nervous, seeing you all serious and all, "A little bit panicked too but who cares.

They were both heading towards U.A. High. The most prestigious school in Japan. Junior-High Schoolers from all over the country try their chances at entering the school.

Though it has an especially low acceptance rate. As expected from a school such as U.A.

"Mmhm~"

As they entered the school, Izuku suddenly tripped while glancing at Rimuru who suddenly started humming.

Izuku looked at Rimuru for help, however, Rimuru only smirked in turn.

You devil!— thought Izuku.

Izuku could only prepare to meet his fate, which is—

"Oh, gotcha. Ahaha, are you okay? I stopped you with my quirk, sorry I didn't ask first. But I figured you needed the help."

—being saved by a girl!

"Uhhh...."

Izuku remained speechless, considering that a girl just prevented him from falling over.

Rimuru laughed hysterically at the boy's reaction. "Ahahaha! Izuku, your face is priceless!"

"Friend of yours?" asked the girl.

"Y-yes, they're a close friend." 

Of course, Rimuru and Izuku had spent more than 10 months together, training and all. They were having fun together, so much so that Rimuru became Izuku's 1st best friend.

But the girl was confused, as Izuku used a gender-neutral pronoun, which was uncommon.

She tiled her head. "Uhm, if you don't mind me asking, why are you using "They"?"

"Rimuru's—"

"We can disclose that later." Interrupted Rimuru.

Rimuru seemed to have something in mind when saying this. That of which Izuku noticed immediately.

"Later...? W-well, let's not get ahead of ourselves here, who knows if we can even pass." said the girl.

'Well, we can only say best of luck. See you around."

"Wait up! Uhm, see you around too."

The girl only waved back and gave a smile.

"Whoa! There are a lot of people here." I exclaimed.

"Ahaha, it's nerve-wracking to think that we're competing against so many people." Replied Izuku.

All of these kids are aspiring to be heroes, huh? Well, can't say the thought doesn't interest me.

<<Master is a bit childish, so it would only be natural.>>

Hey! Who are you calling childish?

<<Nothing, the programs about to start master, you wouldn't wanna miss it.>>

You're talking a tad too casual there little Ciel, it scares me. But, she's right. I'd rather not miss out on the instructions while I can.
