Arc 2 - Chapter 19

Izuku's body felt like it was about to break into two. But in order to stop Shigaraki from interfering with Rimuru, he had to do something. 

Izuku believed that Rimuru would take care of the Nomu.

"Come here, brat! I'll teach you despair." (Shigaraki)

Shigaraki was pretty agile despite his appearance. But Izuku had the power of One For All, even if it was only small bursts of it. Those small bursts of One For All helped Izuku counter and even punch Shigaraki, sending him a few meters away.

"Brat! I guess you really are All Might's successor, huh?!" (Shigarki)

I see! Izuku immediately realized something about Shigaraki's words. I was wondering why they knew so much about us, but it looks like they don't even know if their information is true or not.

Shigaraki began his onslaught again, "Even if you are that bastard's successor, you're only a brat! I only have to dodge a few more of your attacks and you're dead! It looks like Nomu's damage is starting to kick in, huh!" 

Shigaraki was right on point. Izuku was starting to feel the damage dealt by the Nomu at a faster pace. On top of that, he's using whatever bit of his quirk he could use to attack. He wouldn't be able to keep this up any longer.

The gear that Rimuru made wasn't damaged at all, but if Izuku was constantly pressuring his arms even it wouldn't be able to stop Izuku from breaking his arms.

And unbeknownst to Izuku, he wasn't using his full power anymore. He still wasn't able to fully control the output of his power. If he did use his full power, Shigaraki would've been dead by now, and Izuku himself would be severely injured. A certain slime couldn't allow that to happen.

But even with all that—

"I've got you now!" (Shigaraki)

Shigaraki had more combat experience, and with a weakening Izuku he would eventually come out on top. He caught Izuku's face and slammed him down to the ground, causing Izuku to faint.

Shigaraki smiled eerily to Izuku before activating his quirk. "Goodbye. Now, Decay." 

He didn't even look at Izuku as he connects his thumb to Izuku's face to activate his quirk. He had a smile as he went to look for what should've been the Nomu standing victorious.

But—

"Huh?! Where's my Nomu?!" (Shigaraki)

He frantically looked around but to no avail. He could only spot Izuku laying on the ground where near where he last saw Rimuru and the Nomu.

Wait, why is the brat there?! Shouldn't he be—

"Hi again~" (Rimuru)

Shigaraki froze. He couldn't believe what was happening right now. He was afraid to look down and identify who exactly he was holding right now.

"If you dare to mess with my friends again, I will kill you next time. Izuku seems to have been trying to hold back, even when I was limiting his powers. He really didn't want you dead, you know?" (Rimuru) 

Shigaraki's arms immediately felt numb, as if they were never there in the first place. 

Rimuru sliced both of Shigaraki's arms at the same time. Shigaraki couldn't even begin to feel it, since Rimuru immediately knocked him out the next moment.

If you ask what had happened to the original High-End Nomu. It was done in by Rimuru with a single punch.
