"Deku...!" Bakugo yelled in the opposite direction of Todoroki.

Rimuru frowned and said in a hushed voice, "Here we go again..."

***

Bakugo looked highly pissed. I could guess the reason for it though.

"How the hell did you guys end up with the 10M point headband!"

Now, I had thought about what to do with him for a moment. The choices were quite interesting, I could mess with him and make him angrier, try to calm him down, or ignore him entirely. With Bakugo, whatever I chose is bound to worsen his current mood. The difference between the three choices I mentioned was the means.

"Bakugo, hello~ That was an intense match wasn't it."

For now, I tried to greet him.

"Shut up! I'll talk with you after! Deku, how the hell did you guys end up with that headband in the end?! We were cornering Monoma and were sure he had the headband!"

Well of course he'd be suspicious. The spectators didn't pay much attention since they'd seen things like that before in this superhero society. But Bakugo being Bakugo would of course notice something odd. He knew no one had a quirk that could just steal an object from someone, or at least, not how it happened for the 10M headband.

Izuku looked at me for a moment, looking desperate.

I smirked, "He's asking you."

Izuku's face turned blue.

"Don't ignore me!" Bakugo was getting closer.

"Uh...Well, y-you see, I don't know how it happened either!"

Bakugo didn't take that answer well, "Hahhh?! Are you messing with me? Are you looking down on me? Is that what this is?!"

"No! I would never do something like that!"

Izuku's reply was full of power, unlike his earlier stuttering mess of a reply. He truly does respect Bakugo.

In that case, I shall show Bakugo the same respect Izuku give's him.

≪What are you planning?≫

<Planning? I'm not planning anything>

≪...let's leave it at that. I'm sure you have your reasons, Master.≫

Ciel was assuming things again. It's not good to ignore someone, but it's best if I do just that just once. It's good she didn't try pursuing any further.

Bakugo and Izuku had a back-and-forth argument, but I was merely watching them. It didn't take long for Bakugo to involve me in the said argument.

"Agh fine! You're useless. Hey, Pole-less Hole-less bastard, you tell me what happened then!"

Bakugo seemed to genuinely try and provoke me. I admit, he almost got a reaction out of me. "Did you just make that new nickname up to spite me? Are you that mad?"

"That doesn't matter. I call people however I want."

"But that nickname you gave me is especially harsh, what gives dude? At least shorten it."

Bakugo was trying to provoke me. Is this his way of testing me? I did promise to show him respect, but I'm having second thoughts. The nickname still makes me wanna die of laughter. Seriously, how does he create such nicknames without an ounce of shame?

"Just answer my question!"

Well, if you want an answer that much, I guess it can't hurt, to be honest.

In the blink of an eye, I casually walked behind him and aimed my fist at his head. As you'd expect, I wasn't going to hurt him, I stopped when my fist touched his hair. As soon as real-time caught up to my movements, the sheer force I created generated an intense enough wind pressure to knock him forward almost making him hit his face on the ground.

I held his collar so he wouldn't damage his face and said, "This is the reason."

A demonstration of strength is the simplest way to answer his question. It's childish but I don't want his sense of rivalry falling on me since I'm already stronger than him. It'd be best if Deku were his focus since it'll help them both grow.

But man, this Bakugo kid has the biggest balls I've seen in a while (Figuratively Okay). I'm holding him like this and he doesn't show an ounce of being afraid.

"Hmph, don't think this is gonna scare me. All Might could move like this if he wanted to. So what if you're strong?"

He's got a point. Damn.

"Still. Doesn't that fact alone say how big of a difference there is in our skill?" I leaned in a little closer and whispered in his ear, "If you're going to declare your competitiveness, do it at Izuku Midoriya's face. You are not my rival."

My words also served as a way to stir things up inside him and give him more motivation. Though, the boy's mind is incredibly difficult to read sometimes.

"Tch, get off me." He shook my hold of him and walked away. It seems like I got through a bit. But... I'm not sure how much of it actually went in his head, though.

"Young Midoriya, Young Rimuru! Welcome, that was a great match."

All Might called us over after changing back into our uniforms. He looked so happy for some reason, but I can probably guess why.

"Your outstanding control of OFA in such a short amount of time is superb, Young Midoriya. I'm a teacher, but I don't know much about teaching, so I'm really intrigued by your methods Young Rimuru." All Might was giving us a barrage of compliments and questions. Izuku was already bright red at his idol complimenting him so much.

"I uhm, I..."

I hesitated to say my exact methods, but All Might was looking at me expectantly. I didn't want to say this, but...

"Well, to say it in the most friendly way is... I made Deku train his body to the limits."

All Might's eyes shone so brightly I swear it blinded me for a moment. It's hard to say that "I made Deku overuse his quirk and his body and heal it right back and repeat it again and again," straight to his face.

Deku was also unwilling to break the news. This is bad.

It's like I'm about to tell an overprotective dad about how I trained his son. I mean, it just makes sense for me to think of it this way! I know All Might's not that overprotective...maybe...but I just can't seem to break it to him.

"...In any case, Deku's motivation alone drove him through the training. His efforts and hard work have paid off in the form of what you saw at the festival."

"Yes, indeed! I felt so proud even though I wasn't the one to achieve it. I'm truly thankful for you helping Young Midoriya, Rimuru."

Oh? How rare. It seems like he's speaking from the bottom of his heart since he's not using "Young Rimuru" to address me. Izuku was also smiling.

I smile and relaxed, "Please, don't worry about it. I'm very glad to help the very people who sacrifice their time and efforts for the greater good."

With that, we continued to chat away in this nice mood.

"Holy Tempest, I almost got caught."

A man with a tall and built body and blond hair spoke. He was currently in a confined space that even Rimuru would have trouble finding.

"Good work. I assume you saw the slime?"

Those words irritated the man.

"Don't call Rimuru a mere slime. He's way more than that! And yes, I did. It was exactly like you said." The blond man looked at the person who was hidden behind the shadows. "Micheal, I assume you're not gonna go back on your word?"

The man named Micheal grinned, "Of course. I'll keep my word, Veldora."
