Ciara POV

I was currently at work with Nicki and Tyla and it was going slow. We work at the Apple Store,usually it's full but today isn't one of those days.

"Why is it barely anybody here?" Tyla asked aggravated

"Nothing new came out yet" Nicki laughed

"That's not the only reason" I say

"Whatever the reason is Mr. Clark isn't paying enough for today" Tyla whispered

I laughed at these two as a customer walks up.

"Hi what can I help you with?" I ask

"Hi I can't seem to get my phone to turn on" The customer said

"Did you try putting it on the charger?" I ask

"Yes,it's like I could get calls but the screen stays black and I can't access it" She explained

"Can I see it for a minute?" I ask

She passes me the phone and I hold the power and home button at the same time for a few seconds and it turns on.

"Wow" She says as I hand her back her phone

"Yea these things can act up sometimes" I laugh

"Thank you" She laughed

"You welcome have a nice day" I say

"You too" She says as she walks away

"Nice work Ciara" Mr. Clark says with a proud smile

"Thank you" I smile

"I wanna talk to you" He said as he gestured for me to follow him

We walk into his office and sit down

"I like the way you talk to the customers,very respectable" He says as he nods his head

"You're very patient with them too,even if they have a attitude" He chuckles

"I saw how you did with your last customer and I am proud to promote you to manager" He smiles

My mouth drops and I smile.

"Are you serious?" I ask

"As serious as I can be,starting tomorrow you are officially manager" He says as we stand up

"Thank you" I say as I walk out his office

"Bitches!" I semi-yell as I rush toward Nicki and Tyla

"What?" Nicki asks

"Starting tomorrow I am officially manager" I say as I do a little dance

"Oh shit! Time to celebrate at the food court" Tyla says as she joins me

"Hungry asses" Nicki laughs

We go into Mr. Clark's office and ask him if we could take our lunch early.

"Yes,I don't normally do this so don't get used to it" He says

"Ok" I say

"Since you three are my favorite you get an extra 15 minutes,only today" He says

We walk out his office and Tyla slides over the counter as me and Nicki walk around it.

"Extra ass" Nicki says

"Oh well,we bout to go eat Baddy" She says as we walk out the store

We walk on the escalator to go upstairs where the food court is. We order bourbon chicken,lo mien,Mac & Cheese,Collard greens and drinks.
