Make It Last Forever

Ciara POV

Today is the day me and Nicki get married and it's also our 1 year anniversary since we started dating. I already wrote my vows and bought her a ring,we decided to have a small wedding,nothing over the top. We are gonna dress nice but not dress up,I was getting ready in the bathroom with Jhené and Tyla was with Nicki.

"I'm so happy I was not too busy to miss you and Nika get married" Jhené says

"Yea,they been running you around a lot lately" I say

Jhené was doing my hair while I thought about what I wanted to wear. I had an outfit in mind but I don't know about it.

"I'm done" She says while turning the chair around so I could see in the mirror

"Oh my gosh Jhené I love it" I smile as I admire it

I asked her to add color to my hair and style it a little and she did a wonderful job.

"You a blonde now" She smirks

"This is really amazing,thank you" I smile

"Anytime" She smiles

I look through my drawer and decide to wear a pair of shorts,a plain white shirt,and a pair of sandals. The only reason I'm dressed like this is because It's the middle of July and I don't have time to be sweaty and hot while I'm getting married,me and Jhené leave and drive over to the park. When we get there I see My parents,Nicki's parents,August,Jermaine,Nayvadius,Davis,Michael,Chyna,his mom,Tyla,Christian,J'Shawn,Drake,Safaree,and their parents. I see Nicki talking to the person that's gonna marry us,I walk over there and smile at Nicki. We join hands and he starts.

"We are here today to join these 2 in holy matrimony,first we will say a prayer for their marriage" He says and we bow our hands

"Our father we ask that you bless these beautiful souls and push away anybody that tries to harm or separate this marriage,we asks that these 2 ladies never break they're promise to each other that is in their vows and a peaceful ceremony,Amen" He says

"Amen" We all say as we lift our heads

Some time passes and before I know it it's time to exchange vows.

"Ciara you have been an amazing person in my life for as long as I can remember,you are a kind,peaceful,beautiful spirit and I will always cherish everything you do for me,you've been there for me through the ups and downs and I'm grateful for somebody like you,I will always love you no matter what" She says while looking me in my eyes

I started tearing up and I blink to push it back.

"Nicki you are amazing inside and out and I will always cherish our memories as friends and lovers,you never judged or criticized me and I thank you for that,you always talk about how you're grateful for me and you are a genuinely loving person,and I'll always love you" I say

"Onika,repeat after me" He says

"Ok" She says

"I Onika Maraj" He says

"I Onika Maraj" She says

"Promise to love" He says

"Ciara,repeat after me" He says

"Ok" I say

"Is there anybody who thinks these 2 should not get married? Speak now or forever hold your peace" He says

"You may now place the rings on each other's finger" He says

"By the power invested in me and the state of New York I now pronounce you wife and wife,you may now kiss the bride" He says

I lean in and kiss her soft and deeply while everyone claps and cheers.

"Yassssss bitch!" Tyla,Chyna and Jhené yell making me pull apart while laughing

We go back to Tylas house,where she has a reception like,ready for us. When we get there we go into the backyard and Tyla starts the grill. J'Shawn walks over to us with a smile and hugs us.

"I'm really happy for you guys" He smiles

"We know" Nicki smiles

"J'Shawn I'm really thankful that you didn't react the same way Amir did,even though you were upset about what happened you didn't react like a total jackass,It really means a lot that you came today cause you really are like a brother to me" Nicki smiles

"You're like my sister Nicki" He smiles

He looks over at me and smiles

"Don't feel left out,you're back to being like a sister again so you and Nicki are twinning" He smirks

"Ok,J'Shawn" I laugh

"But for real I'm really happy for you guys,if I couldn't make you fully happy I'm glad Nicki is" He says

"Thanks J'Shawn" Nicki says

He walks back to his seat and Nicki turns to me.

"Follow me" She says

I follow her into the house and we go upstairs into one of the guest rooms and closes the door. She turns to me and wraps her arms around my waist and kisses me.

"So how does it feel to be Ciara Princess Harris-Maraj now?" She asks and I laugh

"The way you said that makes it sound fucked up" I laugh

"You know what I mean" She smirks

"It feels good" I say

"This is the best day of my life" She says

"Mine too" I say

She kisses me softly while pinning me to the wall.

"I love you so much" She says

"I love you too" I smile

Today really was the best day of my life,through all the ups and downs in our life who would've thought me and Nicki would be together,let alone get married. I don't regret one thing about our relationship and I'm curious to what the future holds. Hopefully we can Make It Last Forever.
