Nicki POV

I was on my way to Ciara's parents house,I really wanted to talk to them. I've been thinking and It's time we take things to the next level,I get to her parents house and I get out and knock on the door. Her dad opens it and he smiles before hugging me.

"What's up buttercup?" He asks as he lets me in

"Nothing much" I say

"Where's mama Jackie?" I ask

"She went to the store,she'll be back soon" He says

"I wanna talk to you about something important" I say as we sit down in the kitchen

"Ok" He says

"I've been thinking and I think it's time for me and Ci to go to the next level in our relationship" I say softly

"Ok,where you going with this?" He smirks

"I wanna marry her" I say

"Ok" He smiles

"What type of ring you think she would like?" I smile

"Diamond of course,but with a lot of details" He says

"Can you help me when I go?" I ask

"Sure" He says

I smile and he picks me up handing me over his shoulder causing me to laugh.

"My princess and buttercup are gonna get married" He says as he spins me around

"That's if she says yes" I laugh

"Oh trust me,she will" He says

A few days pass and today is the day I'm gonna go pick out the ring,Ci's dad said he was gonna meet me there so when I get in the car I go straight there. When I go in the store I see her dad by the rings and I walk over to him. We greet each other and a worker comes over and helps us.

"Hi my name is Jehlani and see anything you like?" He asks

"Not yet" I say

"Well this ring right here is a diamond emerald cut 10 carat ring" He says while pointing to it

It was a nice ass ring but I'm gonna look a little more.

"This one is a 20 carat ring" He says while pointing to it

He shows me a few more and so far the first one is the winner.

"I think the first one,the rest aren't doing anything for me" I say

"Do you have a picture of the person?" He asks

I pull out my phone and show him a picture of Ci and he nods his head.

"Definitely the first one" He says

"Are you ready to process the purchase or?" He asks

"Give us a few minutes" I say

He nods his head leaving me and Mr. Harris to make a decision.

"You think that's the one?" I ask

"That's definitely the one" He smiles

I call the worker back over here and tell him that I want the first one,but instead of getting it the way it is,I customize it. Instead of it being 10 carat,I make it 15,I look at Mr. Harris and he nods his head in approval. It costs $500,000 but it was well worth it,I say bye to her dad and I get in my car and go back home,hopefully this goes well.
