Nicki POV 

It's been a few days since the whole thing with Amir and I haven't spoke to Ciara since. She's been forwarding my calls and ignoring my texts and it's honestly overwhelming,I wish she would let me explain. It's pretty obvious to her we're done,I call her once again and it goes to voicemail,I decide to leave a message. 

"It all comes down to this,I miss your morning kiss,you're gone now and I really miss you,I'm so dumb for letting Amir get to me,the pain of not being with you is a lot and I'm so sorry,I can't say no more than this,I just hope your heart is hearing me,you own my heart,please don't turn away and let me explain,if you want me to pour my heart out to you I will,I am not living right,I just need you by my side,please" I say softly 

I sigh and lay back on the bed as my phone rings,it's Future. 

"Hello?" I say 

"Hey,what you doing?" He asks 

"Nothing" I say 

"You wanna come over,it's just me,SB and August" He says 

"Ok,I'll be there in 20 minutes" I say as I put my shoes on 

"Aight bye" He says 

"Bye" I say 

I grab my keys and I get in the car,when I get to his house and knock on the door,a few seconds later he opens it and I hug him. A hour goes by and I've been thinking bout Ci the whole time,I can't believe this is happening,I legit cried at least 6 times since that day. I guess my body language was noticed cause all eyes were on me. 

"What's wrong Nic?" Future asks 

I tell them what happened and they all have shocking and confusing faces. 

"He really did that?" Safaree asks 

"Yes,what? You don't believe me either?" I asks defensively 

"No,I'm just shocked" He says 

"I just don't understand" I mumble 

"Ima call her" Future says 

"No!" I say quickly 

"Why not?" He asks 

"I don't want her to think I asked you to" I say 

"I'm not" He says 

He dials her number and puts the phone to his ear. 

"Hello?" He says 

"Lounging" He says 

"Nicki told me what happened" He says 

"She sounded sincere,so yea" He says 

"Aight" He sighs 

"Bye" He says 

"What happened?" August asks 

"She told me to get off her line with that shit" He says 

Damn,I could feel my eyes watering but I shake my head and think about something else. What is it gonna take to get her to listen. 

"I'm just gonna go home" I say as I stand up 

"Wait,I didn't mean to make you upset" Future says 

"I just need to clear my mind" I say 

"Sorry" He says 

"It's ok" I say 

"Bye guys" I add 

"Bye" They say 

I get in the car and drive back home and all I can think is why?
