I Wanna Be

Nicki POV

I'm at work with Ci and Tyla and it's going fast. After I help the last customer our shifts are over and we go get our paycheck from Mr. Clark.

"Nice work ladies,here is your paycheck" He says

"Thank you" We say

"You all have been working nonstop lately so if you wanna take the day off on whatever day you're working this week you can" He said

"Thank you Mr. Clark" We say and we leave

We go to Tyla house to chill and whatnot. We go in the house and are greeted by Christian,August,and Nayvadius. I told everybody about how I feel about Ci but her,Amir,and J'Shawn.

"Hey y'all" Nay says

"Hey" We say

"How was work?" Christian asks

"It was good" Tyla

"Let's see them checks" August grins

I pull out my check and show them.

"$1,000 each" I smile

"That's what's up" Nayvadius says

We catch up on some shows we missed and the whole time I can't stop thinking about Ciara. I imagine what it would be like if my chest was the pillow she cried on,my hand be the tissue she wiped her face with. Anytime she needs a shoulder I would be there night or day. I wanna be the last number she calls late at night,first one that she dials when she opens her eyes. I wanna be the one she runs to and won't hurt her. Whatever she needs I want to give it to her,whether it's her friend or her lover. I wanna be able to call her mine,I don't need anymore time to know that I wanna be with her.

"Nicki!,Nicki!" I hear Christian say

"Huh yea?" I ask

"You ok?" He asks

"Yea,why?" I ask

"We were calling you and you didn't answer like you was in some deep trance" Tyla says

"Oh my bad,what was it?" I ask

"Which episode of Orange Is The New Black were we on?" August asks

"3" I say

The episode starts and this Alex chick is already annoying.

"I don't like her" I say

"We know" Nay laughs

"She's always in drama,like she's wrapped in it and causing it" I say

"Nicki we know" Christian chuckles

"I'm just saying" I say

I feel my phone vibrate and it's a text from Safaree.

Faree💯💸💪🏾: Where you at?

Me: Tyla house

Faree💯💸💪🏾: Ok I'm on my way,just got off work

Me: Ok

"Safaree on his way" I say

"Ok" They say

"Ci can I talk to you real quick?" I ask

"Ok" She said

We go upstairs into one of the guest rooms. I'm curious as to what she would think about this.

"Yes?" She asks

"I read in this magazine the other day" I lied

"Ok" She says confusingly

"The girl was in a relationship but she had feelings for her friend but didn't know what to do" I say

"How did she feel?" She asked

"Her friend made her happy,feel beautiful,and like she can do anything she put her mind to" I say blushing a little

"But so did her boyfriend" I add

"How long have they known each other?" She asked

"The same amount we have" I answer

"What else?" She asked

"She thought it was a phase but it kept getting stronger and sometimes she has the urge to kiss her friend" I say

"What do you think she should do?" I ask

"Well obviously it's not a phase so the next time she gets the urge to kiss her friend she should" She says

"Ok,thanks" I say

"No problem" She says

I think about what Ci just said and before she could get up I lean in and kiss her on the lips.
