Fairy Tail Origins Oneshot Book

This takes place at Divinus Magia one year after the finale of season 5. My own version of season 6 and adding in my Oc's into the mix.

-also, apologies for not updating my books, I haven't been very motivated recently.

Brandon's POV

One year. It's been one year since my brother died. You may be wandering what's happened in Alantide since then. Well, I have no idea what's going on with Grimshade. But the Protectors are doing well. Jakey appointed Kay as his second in command since he's there guild leader now. As for La Carnival, they still have the same guild hall as before but they're really popular in Alantide now, doing shows and normal guild quests. They also have a new member, an illusionist called Devmayi I think. And of course there's Divinus Magia. Things haven't been the same since Ritchie's death. Lucas and Blake have yet to return from there journey yet, it's starting to worry me. David's still struggling with his Devil, but he has Plant. Speaking of Plant, they've grown a few inches and they've learned so many things, I'd say they are most definitely smarter than Inmo. Than again, they always have been. And Inmo, he's always going on quests to prove himself and become stronger so I rarely see him. Another person I rarely see is Devin. I think he took his death harder than even myself. He even destroyed his own garden. I wish I could help but I myself have not gotten over what happened...anyways, Kit's been helping me with paperwork. Mario spends a lot of time with his girlfriend, Mania. Lara, Tiffy, and Fraun are still hard at work with the delivery service, evening setting up where the now out of business Alantide postal service was. And they've hired lots of people in Alantide that don't have much or anything at all, so the homeless and the poor a job with fair pay. And lunches. They've really helped with the homeless problem. The protectors have also pitched in, providing money, I mean, they have plenty to spare still. Some real improvements have been made. As for our enemies, no reports of Abraham and no new enemies have arrived, at least not yet. I have a feeling they will be showing up closer to the grand magic games as usual.

I was sitting on the roof of the castle. It was night time. The sky was cloudless so I had a perfect view of the starry sky and the moon. The cool night hair moved my hair a bit. "I miss you brother." I said aloud to myself. It was true. I still blamed myself a little. I can't help myself, I just feel like, if I had been stronger than my brother would still be here. He was a much better guild leader then I was, and he had more to live for, he had a son and of course Devin. Speaking of Oakley...My eyes drift down to the ground to see the now 8 year old, Oakley. Jakey was able to  revert him back to his proper age. He came here every week in the dead of night to look at the garden and pay respects to my brother. I don't think he realizes that I'm aware he does this but that doesn't matter...He was given a Lacrima that gave him my brothers power, and I also have a bit of my brothers power. Oakley officially joined La Carnival to be with his mom. I didn't mind that he came here, although I imagine that David would have a fit if he found out that Oakley was sneaking around his garden without permission. It almost made me laugh at the thought.

Nothings the same, yet nothings different.
