All was quite on the island of Divinus Magia-

*Record scratch sound thing*

"WILL YOU ShUT UP!" Blake shouted as she threw her empty beer mug at a sobbing Mario. This only caused Mario to cry even more. Lucas snickered beside his girlfriend. Meanwhile, Devin rolled his eyes in annoyance, Kit was fast asleep on the table, snoring quietly, David was cowering behind a pillar, and Inmo was leaning against a wall, eyes closed, in silence. As for the guild leaders. Ritchie looked to be calm while Brandon looked like he was about to burst. Why is everyone acting this way you may ask? Well, I have no idea. I guess they just woke up like this. It's like some sort of Opposite Day. But I doubt anyone would take Opposite Day this far. So I am at a loss for an explanation as to how this happened. Anyways, back to the story. Lucas was snickering at Mario. Cuddling up to his girlfriend who was furious. "Aw, what's wrong Mario?" Lucas asked in a mocking tone. Mario sniffled, trying to dry his tears. Before more came bursting out. Devin and Blake rolled their eyes in annoyance. Suddenly Lucas felt a tug at his pants. He looked down to see Plant with a worried expression. "Papa be bad?" They asked. Lucas rolled his eyes. "No I'm not bad I'm good." He said in a sarcastic tone. Sadly Plant didn't know what sarcastic was yet so they took his words as truth. They walked over to David who was cowering behind a pillar. Plant tugged on his pant leg to get his attention. He jumped back, clearly startled by plant. So startled that he fell on his butt. Blake and Lucas laughed at him. Plant walked up to him, concerned for their Dad. "Dad ok?" Plant asked. "Y-yeah. I'm o-ok! J-j-just a littttle st-ttartled is allll." David managed to stutter out. This time Plant didn't buy it. They may not know a lot of words but they were smart enough to figure out that something wasn't right here. Everyone was acting weird. Before David could say anything Plant sped off, out of the room.

Plant eventually found their way to the guild masters office. After rummaging around a bit they found what they were looking for. The communication Lacrima. They didn't know how to use it so they shook it around a bunch in hopes that it would work. Lucky for plant it did. The crystal started to flash before settling down and simply glowing. Suddenly a voice sounded, startling Plant. "Hello?" The mysterious voice said. Plant recognized the voice. It was Micheal. Plant quickly thought of all the words they could use, in hopes that Micheal would understand that something was wrong. "Papa, Mama, Bad, Dad Bad!" They exclaimed. Hoping. Micheal would understand. There was silence. Suddenly Plant heard a soft thump behind them. They turned around to see the very shadow mage they were hoping for. They dropped the Lacrima and ran over to Micheal, latching onto his leg, in an attempt to hug him. He chuckled softly. "Alright Plant, can you take me to the others?" Micheal asked. Plant let go of him and nodded. "Plant!"

Micheal's POV
—————————————
I followed Plant to the mess hall area. I definitely wasn't expecting to see what I saw. After being there for a bit I deduced that they were likely under the affects of a spell of potion, one that made them take on a personality opposite from their own. But before I could find a way to cure this I would have to figure out how this happened. Time for an investigation!

After what felt like hours I managed to get the members of Divinus Magia to comply with this investigation, without telling them what it was for in case that made them completely against it. Anyways, Plant showed me the vault which for some reason had a couch, camera, and directors chair in it. So I figured I could use it as the interrogation room. With Plant on guard duty to make sure no one decides to run off. The first person came in. Brandon. He sat down on the couch, he was the hardest to convince to do this. I turned on the camera, recording the conversation incase I needed to look back at it later.

"So Brandon. Have you always been like this?" I started off the conversation. "like what?" He questioned me back. "Well, you seem to be having trouble keeping your anger in check. Have you always been like that?" I elaborated. He shrugged. "I guess." He answered. I nodded. "And the others. Has Inmo always been quite, Mario a crybaby?" I asked. "For as long as I've known them, yeah." He answered. I hummed. It seems this has altered their memories as well. That could be problematic. "Okay, one more question. Did you do anything or receive anything yesterday that differed from what you usually do or was strange?" I asked, in hopes I could gain an understanding of what caused this. To my dismay he shook his head. "Not a thing." I sighed. "Very well, you're free to go." I said.

It went on like that. They all had their memories altered and none recall anything unusual happening yesterday. Now all I had left was Blake and Lucas, who insisted on coming in together. They came in and set on the couch. I sighed. "Have you always been mean?" I asked half heartedly. Blake gasped in mock surprise. "Mean? Us? Never!" She said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes. "Yes, don't try to act dumb, answer the question." I said. Lucas groaned. "Yes of course." He said. I wasn't really expecting an answer any different from the others. "Okay. And did you notice anything strange yesterday? A package you didn't order? Anything?" I asked. They shook their heads. I sighed. "You're free to go."

I walked along a random path on the island, annoyed that the interrogations got me no where. Suddenly I felt a prick in the back of my neck. I lost my footing and fell to the ground. My vision blurred. And everything went dark.

I groaned, attempting to move my arms to stretch only to find they were restrained, in fact my whole body was restrained, in an all to familiar chair. I looked up at the bearded man in front of me. Abraham. "What's wrong Micheal? Not happy to see me?" Abraham asked in a mocking tone. I glared at him. "You kidnapped me and tied me to a chair, twice. What do you want?" I wasn't really in the mood for this. He snickered. "Well, I noticed you were trying to ruin my experiments so I had to stop you." He said. My eyes widened in realization. "You! You're the one that messed with Divinus." I stated. "Indeed. It was but an experiment at first, you see I developed a new method of mind control, but the side affect is the opposite personality thing. At first I was going to fix that, but then, I decided not to." He explained. "Wait. So they're all under your control?!" I asked, shocked. He smirked. "Yes, and don't worry, you'll join them soon." He said. My heart sunk. I should have realized something more sinister was going on. And now I would be under his control too. He took out a Lacrima.
