Sang's reserve (COMPLETE)

Someone's falling!

This was supposed to be up yesterday, but someone distracted me... naming no names... 

On an totally unrelated note.... This chapter is dedicated to my new best friend on watt pad @Chanceariel Totally unrelated...

North's POV

It takes him the time to walk to the main hall but Corey eventually comes up with 'Leo' as the name for the lion, I don't think he realises that it's the most used lion name ever, but it was better that Rooks's suggestion of 'Fluffy' and Marc really helpful suggestion of 'Aslan'. Gabe yells 'Loki' back at Corey as he races after my brother, who's still carrying Sang. Jess then countering with 'Attila', but Corey stays firm with Leo for some reason, even rejecting my idea of 'Styx' and Luke's yell, which I think is from Sang, of Percio (though that does give him pause).

Animals scatter in all directions, as we head towards the main hall. I'm not sure how good Corey and co are at climbing, but I guess we're about to find out. I bet Marc mentions it in some way.

Baby hands Corey, a sling to put Leo in, so that his hands are free to climb. Then looks at him critically, then she takes the sling and loops it over Luke's neck and shoulder instead, I think she wants to guarantee that 'Leo' makes it at least through his first climb. He just smiles and kisses her forehead, it acts as a confirmation that he'll look after 'Leo', I think. I wish I could be as easy with her, but I only kissed her for the first time yesterday, and I don't want to push it, as much as I already know I love her.

As predicted Marc says something.

"We have to climb that!" is in fact what he yells in disbelief, displaying a very similar reaction to my first sight. Jess nods, her eyes flash to mine, then Sang's then Luke's how much are we betting that one of them needs catching? I see Baby's lips twitch,

"Sono dalla tua parte, penso che uno cadrà!" (I'm on your side, I think one will fall) Baby nudges him in the side but doesn't disagree. Finch stares at Luke.

"When little west learn to giblet in nonsense words!"

"Giblet?" Almost everybody asks looks of confusion present on their faces, Corey included.

"Do you mean gabble?" Baby questions softly.

"Da same!" I can feel my lips twitch, to be fair to Raven, most of the time the stuff he says makes total sense, sort of, but mixing up the word 'giblet' with 'gabble' is a new level.

"Ummm..." Corey trails off, his head shaking as Jess, Marc, Gabe, Luke and Baby start to giggle again. Baby manages to muffle it quite well, but when Raven adds,

"See!" will a very self-satisfied smirk, she turns and climbs one handed as fast as possible up, her giggles still managing to reach my sensitive ears. Jess shakes her head in disbelief, both her and Luke bolting after Sang. I can't help the eye roll that follows. Marc stifles another laugh with a cough, as Gabe turns to observe the climbing area.

"Yes, you have to climb that!" I say, slightly dryly, before he can ask. Gabe scowls.

"Great, just f*****g great!" he mumbles, scowling harder.

"Come on you lot!" Jess calls from the top floor, Luke and Baby have already disappeared over the top, probably to go sort lunch of some kind. Gabe rolls his eyes, then decides to try and take the hardest way up. There is no way that his going to get up there. I can't get up there and I trained for years, not that Luke knows that. I was trying to find a way to connect with him, yet I couldn't stop myself from trying to control what he did and what he ate, which then pushed him away...
