Sean POV:

I've been working my ass off for months, being at 'home', it just feels like I'm drowning, watching my brothers change and twist into unrecognisable people. It doesn't sit well that I can't do anything about it, I've tried, trust me I've tried.

Instead, I've just spent my nights sleeping in my office, so much so that Phil has now given me my own on call room with a bed reserved especially for me. It's kind of sad, yet I almost love him, for not pushing as to why, though that might be because he already knew, the look he gave me was far too knowing.

I can hardly remember the last time I went home, even Owen doesn't seem to care that I'm working the entire time, not anymore...

I might have been with them for Christmas day, but that was at Erica's, almost two months ago. It is almost two months since I watched Jess run from her mother's house, from us, not Erica, as if the place was on fire.

Run to a slightly battered, but non-descript, common, Range rover, with two people in the front. Two very familiar people. It still seems impossible, but I seriously couldn't believe my eyes, that the two in that car were the part of my family that had vanished.

I can totally believe that Kota would have tried to send Brandon after her, what I'm still not really sure about is how he persuaded him to actually go. The fact that Brandon then got arrested, but not pulled in on any of the many warrants out for him, also confused the heck out of me.

The other question that has been ploughing at me is where did, Corey, Gabe, Raven and Marc disappear off to? For almost two full days! I know they said that they were on a mission for Uncle. Something doesn't sit right about that, for some reason, while Owen and Axel got slightly annoyed about the fact that they weren't informed, they never questioned what the mission was. Which makes no sense! Still! Even two months later!

"Sean, Sean.... DR. GREEN!" Phil is leaning on door frame, I look up at him from my desk, pretending I wasn't so lost/exhausted that I didn't remember what my name was. He rolls his eyes, "It's almost nine," Is it? I glance at the clock, it surprises me, though it shouldn't, that his telling me the truth. "Yes Sean, I'm not lying to you!" he chuckles at me, I just grin, slightly tiredly, back at him, he knows me way too well!

"As I said, it's almost nine, do you need anything before I leave, Ben and Sa..." he pauses for a moment, then continues as if he didn't just panic of the start of a word, "several other people have been texting me for the last hour, in attempts to get me home! You should go home to Sean, when was the last time you had dinner with your team?" he looks at me hard when I don't answer and just look back at the desk. He sighs. "Just please make sure you get some sleep... preferably today!" he sighs again, more deeply, "If you need me, I'll be at Bob's diner!" I acknowledge him, with a slight nod, before he leaves.

My gaze returns to the file in front of me. It's a case I never truly worked on, though I was supposed to, one of my first, I still can't believe I threw up at it. It comforts me slightly that I wasn't the only one that had to leave, I took that as a sign that I had to train harder, so that I could help the Academy, to stop that from happing again. I know it wasn't my fault, but I still can't get the images out of my head, all I know is that she survived, and that's only because there was major gossip for several weeks about how the critical patient had vanished one night. The security footage was checked, and she had literally walked out! Not that I actually saw it until recently, but that was the rumour!
