Sorry it's short this is just to help show a bit of Sang's character! Also her journey with trusting Jess and Erica.

Hope you like it anyway

3rd person POV:

Sang doesn't do more than shake Erica's hand each time that her and Jess visit Erica, for the whole of the holidays, but each time it is for a fraction of a second longer. By the end it's almost a normal length hand shake.

Erica quickly feels that Sang had always been part of the family, another daughter, yet one she would very much like as a daughter in law.

Despite their only physical contact being a brief hand shake, she can feel a strange connection growing, between Sang and her family. Each time they, Sang and Jess come just after it gets dark, five o'clock or so, and don't leave till almost nine, sometimes later.

This means that Sang and Jess have always fed the animals before they leave. Although Sang becomes more comfortable with Erica over the holidays, she still brings her friends with her, they make her feel... safer, everywhere she goes. The animals also seem to know that so, at least, one of them is watching over her, at all times.

Erica becomes totally convinced, as Jess told her she would, that Sang is perfect for Luke, and visa versa. While Sang has hints of mischief in her eyes occasionally, they disappear quickly, almost straight way at times, as if she doesn't know what do to with them. But by the end of the holidays she is starting to learn, Erica can see this. She starts to tease Jess, slowly but surely.

Erica's new favourite memory is when they are helping Erica in the garden on the last Friday of the holidays, Sang has the courage to start a water fight, (they had come early that day so that they could spend some time helping in the garden)! She will never forgot that sound, the pure unfiltered joy that came from both Sang and Jess, as they grinned at each other, clothes soaking wet.

While Sang is starting to trust, something is still holding her back. Erica just can't work out what, as much as she wishes she could, yet for some reason she is sure that Luke would help get Sang out of her shell more.

Mainly because as mentioned several times they are just so perfect for each other. Yet, also because, you just can't ignore, or dislike, that boy!

Except apparently if you name is Kayli Winchester and/or you are, in Erica opinion a complete idiot. Of course Kayli has the delightful extra combination of being selfish, as well as blind to how amazing Luke is... in some ways a good thing as Sang is so much...

More?

Better?

Perfect?

Erica doesn't have quite the right word, but perfect seems close enough, despite the scars, that she's glancingly seen, which are obviously both physical and metal...

Told you it was short, hope you liked it though 🙃🙃🙃 (edited 05/06/21) edited 25/08/21
