Monika POV
I take a look at Yuri's house. It wasn't too big and it also wasn't too small! Kinda like my house. To be honest pretty much like most houses these days. Yuri opened the front door for me and let me go inside first. As soon as Yuri closes the door behind her I was greeted by the warm and nice smell of lavender. "Hey, Yuri. Why does you're house smell like lavender?" Yuri looked at me and giggled a bit.
She explains how she doesn't want any bad smells filling any of the rooms so she placed some candles that smelled like lavender in some spots of the house. I slightly blush. Why does my heart beat so fast when I'm near her? Remember Monika....she's just you're friend and you're heart is beating cuz you like spending time with her! Wait is that even a logical explanation to why I feel so warm with her? I don't even know...
I feel like I'm stuck in a room of people beating me up and saying I'm wrong. Okay I honestly don't know anymore...but I remember in the hospital how Yuri was holding my hand. Usually in anime that is a sign that the person holding you're hand likes you but hides it. So....does that mean that....
No no no! That can't be logical. It's just fiction! Things don't work like that in real life. Even if we beg for our fictional crushes or scenarios to be real it will never happen. But that's not my problem now. I just want to know if Yuri feels the same way. Yuri flicks her fingers in front of my face. I woke up and let out a soft gasp. "You were s-spacing out." Yuri looks away and plays with her hair as if stopping me from spacing out was mean.
I am at Yuri's house! I am the one who is mean! Cuz I'm her visitor and I need to treat her with respect. It would be mean if I just space out in the middle of something. Yuri guided me to the kitchen and decides to make some tea. While she was boiling the water we were talking about school and our scores in the resent exams. Mine and Yuri's scores have been pretty god lately so that's cool I guess. Yuri finishes making the tea and pours it in two cups. Yuri hands me one of the cups. I sip it a bit. It was hot but very tasty!
We spent our time talking and drinking tea to try to relax a bit from what just happened. We both were concerned about Sayori and if she'll be okay or not. I could see some tears stream down Yuri's cheek however she tries to hide them. "I just-...I...*sniff* hope she'll be okay..." Yuri's head was resting on the table she was sobbing uncontrollably. I pay Yuri's head a bit. "Don't worry! She's gonna be fine. I'm sure of it!" That is another one of my attempts on trying to calm a person down. She stops sobbing but I could still see some tears stream down her eyes as she slightly looks up. " Are you s-sure?"
"Don't worry, Yuri! I'm sure." I hug Yuri. She hugs me back. I could feel her soft breathing against my neck. We both stop hugging each other. I realise that my clothes here a bit drenched with Yuri's tears. "Oh! I-I'm so s-sorry. I'll g-go get some n-napkins." Yuri runs away to grab the napkins. Well...at least she stopped crying. It's good to know that Yuri doesn't think that this situation is some funny joke like some kids would think.
She runs back and hands me the napkins. I forgive Yuri since staining my uniform isn't anything that bad. I clean my uniform. " Hey, Yuri." Yuri jumps a bit and looks at me "Y-yes? What is it?" Yuri puts her cup of tea back on the table after taking another sip. "Where's you're room?" I look up. I'm assuming it's on the second floor. "Oh! T-that...well umm....it's on the second floor." Yup! I knew it! Yuri guides me to her room. It had a dark wooden floor with a dark purple carpet on it. The blanket on her bed was light blue and her pillow was white. Near her bed was a window with dark red curtains. The walls were purple just like her carpet.
"Woah! You're room is very elegant!" Yuri slightly blushed and looked away. "Y-you really think so? Thank y-you..." I show a bright smile and Yuri gives me a slight awkward smile back. I chuckle a bit. There was also a desk. With some drawers on the side. I reach out for one of the drawers. I look back at Yuri. She was sweating a bit.
