Monika's pov

It was a dark day. It has been raining and raining for a really long while. Sometimes i doubt I'll ever see the sunlight ever again. But at least is Yuri is by my side I have nothing to worry bout. It was a regular day in the club. Each day i come to school it's always so common to see people soaking wet as the rain drops dry into their uniforms. I just... Wish i could delete the rain forever... delete everything... delete my thoughts... and....

No this is stupid.. I don't want to go back in the old days where  deleted everything! This is a new story to prove my self that i won't be a dumb ass whole who kills her own friends! I think i should  just forget about it... MC in that story wasn't that attractive at all so i don't understand who coded me to like him. but now... My heart belongs to another!

I make my way down the hallway to the library in order to see Yuri again. Suddenly i get stopped by the principle as he sighed in his deep voice. "*sigh*... Monika, we need to talk... about your club." About my club? What could he possibly have to talk about? My club hasn't been even slightly popular in school and is created by a so called "popular chick" who has received the worst reputation! I follow the principle upstairs to his office. I enter the office. I sigh while trembling.

"Monika, We might need to shut down your club." The president sadly yet seriously huffs. 'What!? But I've gone so far with my club! It's a club were you can reveal how you feel and vent to other people!" The president taps my shoulder. "I get it... I know. But your club has had some awkward behaviour that it has gained quite the reputation for... rather bad reasons. One of your club members almost killed herself, one of your club members has almost died, people have theorised that one of your club members are getting abused and the last one of them need to watch it all!" He does have a point... People wouldn't feel safe in a club like this. My club members assume this is the best place for them when cuz of this club they are slowly killing themselves...

"I... Uhm.." I loose my words for a short period of time. "W-Well... I understand your reasons... and if its for the best of my club... then I will accept it." I knew it was the best for the club. But no matter what perspective i look at it, it doesn't feel all that right of a choice. But the decision has been made. There's no turning back.

The next day

As expected everyone is questioning me. "W-What!? You can't just let go of the club! It's my only safe place..." I attempt to comfort Natsuki. "It's okay Natsuki. But I can't do anything about it. Principle's choice!" Sayori has developed understanding of the situation and doesn't think much of it as getting rid of the club doesn't scar her as much. Yuri just stands in the background of the situation thinking to herself. She shakes her head. She approaches.

"M-Monika!" She calls my name. Getting alerted me and Natsuki turn heads to Yuri. She just mumbles and stutters a bit. "I... F-Forget it..."

Yuri was visibly uncomfortable. I walk up to her leaving Natsuki behind. "What is it Yuri? I understand how you feel about the situation but theres nothing I can do. They told me once this area shuts down for good they'll make it in to a basic english lesson classroom once all is forgotten about the club." Natsuki's eyes widen. "What? It can't be! So they just have the audacity and carelessness to shut the club and turn it into some boring classroom? What about the memories? And my manga?"

"It will all be gone and forgotten. The manga will be given back to you, but the tea set and the other traces of the club will be all thrown out." Natsuki shakes gently and clenches her fist looking away. Tiers fall from her face. Like a little stream rolling down her cheek. "No! This can't be! I can't let them take away the only source of freedom and happiness from me!" As soon as she said that the teachers walked in the clubroom. "I see. Saying final goodbye's to the clubroom?" The teacher folds her arms.

I look away with a slightly pissed off face. "yeah... Guess so..."

"Well we're sorry, but we'll need to get rid of the traces of the club in the room so that it can be used for regular school work. We will need you to exit." I look down. "Yeah... Let's go..." As i start walking i look back to see Natsuki angrily staring at the group of teachers removing all traces of club activity. They give her the box of manga from the shelf. She slowly marches out of the classroom hands full of manga.

"Hmph.... throwing out the tea set sure was unnecessary." Yuri mumbles to herself with her eyes piercing through her eyelashes staring directly at the teachers that was about to shut the clubrooms door. "We'll come back next day. Let's just carry the memory that this used to be our safe spot. Okay?" Natsuki keeps her head down being unable to face the world. "WAS our safe spot... But now... It's nothing but a boring english classroom. Almost as if not even the clubs ashes remained. Just some stupid chairs and some table's"

"Hmm... But i suppose it's not THAT bad. At least we can share memories together. Right?" "But they're JUST memories... You're lucky that you aren't the one with nowhere to go and no one to trust."

-------------------

A couple days later all we ever see from the clubroom is just a "This area is off limits. Teachers only." Sign in front of the doors. All remnants of the club have been removed. As i blankly stare at what's left behind of the club all i hear is whispers and whispers behind my back. Everyone is asking me if I'm okay and if anything too bad happened that we need to shut down. I say nothing of course but. The more people ask the shittier i feel...

As the bell rings all students march back to class. I slowly retreat back to biology class.

In class even the teacher asked me if I'm okay with this and if I feel in any way uncomfortable. Of course i do, but i just shook it off and said all is fine. How will I recover from this?

---------------------------

I slowly exit class. On my way to the school exit I get caught off guard. It was Yuri standing by herself observing the clubroom sign. She had a calm expression but I could feel a tiny chunk of rage inside of her deepest thoughts. She turns her head to me. "Guess there's nothing now. Right, Monika?" "Guess so..." Yuri leans in for a small hug. "Well nothing can be done now. At least we can still be girlfriends and hang out with the rest of the club. Right?" "I don't think we should refer to the rest of our friends "the rest of the club" noting that the club we all knew is long gone." "Guess you're right..."

"I love you, Monika..."

"I love you too, Yuri..."

-----------------------

Monika hasn't had too big of a spotlight in the story so i decided to make a chapter focusing a little more on her and her emotions.
