Chapter 14

3rd POV

Y/n and Yoongi both got to the gathering. Y/n wore a simple purple dress and had a lose braid, she had also added some purple long gloves to hide the bandages on her wrist. Yoongi offered his arm for her to take, which she took.

As soon as they enter together, many people started commenting and whispering.

Yoongi takes her to a table and pulls out a chair for her. As she sat, Yoongi excuses himself to greet his friends.

'So now we wait?' Da-Eun asked.

'According to my plan, yes.' Y/n said.

Some of the maids had brought her tea and pastries. Y/n gladly enjoyed everything that was given to her. Just as she was about to ask for seconds, Jin appears.

'There he is.'

Jin notices her and stomps over to her. Y/n could only laugh at how angry he looked right now.

"What are you doing here?!" He asked.

"Keep it down, would ya? I've come in peace." She smiles, only to irritate him more.

"There could never be peace with you here." He glares, again.

"Whatever, but I did came for a reason." She said. Jin waits for her to continue. "The engagement latter, I wish to have it back."

"Tch, you really think I'd believe you?" He scoffs.

"Why not? You never loved me, and I no longer hold any feelings for you, so if you may?" Y/n holds out her hand.

Everyone was watching now, waiting for the Prince's reaction. Only for Jin to scoff and walk away.

'I shall take it with force then.'

'Try looking inside his vest, on his left side, there's a secret compartment there. I remember he always had one ever since we were younger.' Da-Eun informs Y/n.

People gasp as Y/n goes up to him and grabs his left side of his vest. Jin turns around with widen eyes as Y/n takes out the engagement letter. She opens it to make sure she grabbed the right paper.

"What do you think you're doing?" Jin reaches for it, but Y/n moves it away from him.

"What I should've done long ago," She holds up the letter and rips it in half in front of everyone. "Let you free."

Everyone stares in shock, even Jin. Content with the attention, Y/n smiles.

"Congratulations, now you're free to marry whoever you desire." Y/n turns to look at A-Reum, who sat with the group of boys.

'Ugh, she's such a pick me girl.' Y/n mentally rolls her eyes.

'A what?' Da-Eun asked.

'Nevermind.'

With that, she walks away.
