Chapter 23

1st POV

I stayed laying on my bed, thinking about Seok-Jin's behavior. It was suspicious. How can someone go from hating you to suddenly caring for you? Then again, he is the male lead, he's supposed to be real king and caring.

I sit up held my chin in a thinking manner, going through the book in my head. I could feel that there was something I was forgetting.

In the original story, he was kind, but not once did Seok-Jin ever showed Da-Eun mercy. But then again, me being here and behaving differently could be the reason of his sudden change. Still, this doesn't feel right.

Jimin then enters my room with a smile. He has gotten comfortable with me, so he doesn't knock anymore, neither does Yoongi.

"Hey, back for some classes?" I asked him.

"Yep! I need to show you my progress too." He says in excitement.

'Good. I really could use a distraction.' I smile.

I look over his work, pricing him over every little detail like a toddler. His reactions were really cute. I showed him new techniques as well and watched as he practiced them. He went at it until he ran out of thread. He pouts, to which I giggle at.

"Don't worry, I have more." I said.

I get up to get some, but an intense pain in my chest stops me. I close my eyes from the pain as I put light pressure on my chest with my hands. I tried to take some deep breaths, but it only made it worse.

"Y/n, are you ok?" Jimin asked, sounding concern.

"....Y-Yes." I struggle out an answer.

I hear a chair falling before Jimin appeared right by my side. He put his arm around my shoulder and grabbed my hand. He tried helping me walk, but my legs gave up on my.

"Y/n!" Jimin held me close to his body. "That's it, I'm calling a doctor." He gently picks me up and takes me to my bed. "Wait here."

3rd POV

The doctor did a check up on Y/n while Jimin waited patiently outside of the room, like Y/n had asked. She sat up after so she could talk to the doctor properly.

"Lady Yang, tell me, have you been coughing a lot lately?" The doctor asked.

"Yes, actually. I've also seem to be getting headaches." She explained.

"Shortness of breath too?" He asked.

"U-Um... not really.... maybe..." Y/n starts thinking about the past few days to see if she has had trouble breathing.

"Have you been feeling tired too?" He asked.

"A little." Y/n was starting to get worried.

"And from what Jimin told me, chest pains as well. Do you get dizzy often?"

"No." She said, getting nervous.

"Have you notice blood on your coughing?" The doctor asked.

"No." Y/n frowns at such question.
