Chapter 29

Yoongi's POV

I made a mistake. I was too blinded by my own selfishness to realize how Y/n feels. From the time I've known her, I've learned about her persona. She isn't the selfish type, and she does everything for a reason.

She forgave Jin, but I couldn't, when it should be the other way around.

I came over to her house, seeking forgiveness, as well as an explanation. I hate to be on bad terms with her. I know she isn't mad at me, which gives me a big relief. I don't what I would do if Y/n hated me.

Her maids no longer scorted me as I would come ofter. I went straight to her room and reached her door.

"I don't have much time, do I?"

I stop myself from moving as I hear those words from Y/n.

"I'm afraid not, this strange illness has started to spread rapidly. Much sooner than your mother's." An unknown man said.

'Illness...? What are they talking about?'

"How much time do you estimate I have?" Y/n asked.

"At most, 5 months, but at this rate that you're going, it might me sooner."

'5 months!? 5 months of what!?'

"Thank you."

'Why is Y/n thanking him!'

"I'll report to your father now. I'm sorry you have to suffer a slow death like this, Lady Yang."

"Death........?"

I hear footsteps approaching the door, but I didn't hide. I couldn't move. I was too shocked.

3rd POV

When the doctor opened the door, Yoongi stared right at him. Y/n, hearing the gasp of the doctor, walks over to the door as well.

Her eyes widen when she sees Yoongi standing right in front of the doctor. A small tear dropped down his check. Before Y/n could speak, Yoongi had grabbed the doctor's jacket.

"What do you mean 5 months!? What illness!??!" He starts shouting.

"Yoongi!" Y/n came to the doctor's rescue.

"Why is she dying!?" He ignored her.

"Let him go." Y/n's stern voice caught his attention.

Yoongi looked at her. The desperation in her eyes got him to free the doctor. The doctor bows before leaving, a glint of sadness for his client was visible.

Yoongi was angry for the lack of information. Y/n gulps.

"Yoongi, listen--"

"Why didn't you tell me?" Yoongi's voice gave away his current emotions.

He felt sad, mad, worried, betrayed. All of those emotions mixed into his question. It hurt Y/n because she knew that she was the cause of those emotions.
