1st POV
-----------
I lean back on my chair, bored and feeling oddly tired. I was in the court room, I think. I was never a history person, so I don't know much about this times. I don't even know what era I'm in.
There were, what I think are, judges in a long wooden table. They all dress completely ugly, it hurt my eyes. There were also citizens behind some sort of wall. They all payed close attention to me.
"Lady Yang Da-Eun, you've been accused of assulting 2 citizens of this kingdom. Do you have anything to say about this?" One of the judges pushes up his glasses as he reads over a paper.
"Yes, I'm innocent." I said.
"And do you have any proof to back up your statement?" He asked.
"Is there any proof of this accusation? Any witnesses?" I asked.
"There was one who I am not aloud to mention, since they were one of the victims." He said.
I scoff. Of course they would say that. They have no valid proof for me to be guilty.
"Your Honor, this makes no since! My daughter would never behave in such way!" Da-Eun's father speaks up.
"Lord Yang, please refrain from talking." The judge tells him.
"But this is nonsense! My daughter is being falsely accused!" He stands up, but was idmitietly sat down by a guard.
Mr. Yang wasn't having it though, so the guards took him outside. I send a glare to the guards as they took him away.
"Lady Yang, do you have anything else to say?" The judge asked, getting my attention back.
I shake my head. "I have already said everything I needed to." I look straight forward, avoiding any eyecontact with anyone.
"Da-Eun, c'mon, just say something." Jin, who sat at the table next to me, whispered anxiously.
I ignore him as I slowly blinked. Da-Eun's voice kept ringing in my head. I closed my eyes to concentrate on her.
'--But NO! You don't listen! Then I--'
'I know, I'm an idiot. I'm sorry.' I tell her.
'Exactly! You're a big idiot!'
'I'm an idiot to think that there could be something good for us. I'm sorry for getting your hopes up, only to disappoint you.'
'...Aish, you didn't give me any hopes...' She said more calmly.
'I'm sorry you had to get stuck with me. I'm sorry for having such silly mentality, thinking we could ever get a happy ending...... We're villains after all.'
"Just shut up. You're a bigger Idiot for giving up so easily.' She said.
'Da-Eun, I don't think I can get us out of this one, this wasn't something I could ever imagine to happen.'
