Chapter 17

Hoseok's POV

Y/n is fun to hang out with. That was probably the most fun I had in a while.

I smile as I thought of the song Y/n played at the bar. I tap my foot along with the beat in my head. This caught the attention on A-Reum, who I has on a date with.

"You seem really happy today, Hobi." She said. "Is it because you're with me?" She asked.

"Uh, yeah." I force my smile.

I've always felt something for A-Reum, but ever since I've met that girl..... I can't get her out of my head.

I tried listening to A-Reum talk about her day, but my mind kept drifting off back to last night. I couldn't see her smile, I could only imagine how beautiful it must be.

'Y/n, I really hope we see each other soon.'

"J-Hope?" A-Reum's concern voice interups me. "Are you ok? You keep zoning out." She asked.

"Yeah, sorry, I just...... Have things in my mind." I tell her, avoiding any detail. "So, A-Reum, do you play any instruments?" I asked to change the subject.

"No, but like I said, I always wanted to learn the piano!" She said with excitement, to which I smile. "Maybe you can help convince Yoongi to teach me?" My smile drops.

"Yeah, maybe." I said right before I drift off again.

I never liked when she talked about the others whenever I was with her. It made me feel self-conscious, made me feel like I wasn't enough.

The date with A-Reum was boring. All we did is sit and talk. Well, more like her talking and me listening.

'Since when did I find her so annoying?' I asked myself.

I was walking around with A-Reum to buy some dresses for her. She liked a dress she saw at the gathering and Jin gave me a lot of money and asked me to take her to buy as many as she liked.

"Look at this one! Isn't it gorgeous!" She said, grabbing a dress and checking it out.

"Yeah." I said, not really paying attention.

I look out the window as I saw a guy running. He ran towards a lady. While she was busy looking into her wallet, the guy grabs it and runs with it.

I quickly get out of the store to help the lady. I run after him, and to my surprise, the lady followed right next to me. It didn't take her long to beat me into reaching the thief.

The lady grabs the thief by the back of his shirt, and forced him back, making him fall to the ground.

"How dare you! Who do you think you're messing with?!" The lady yelled. She then holds her head in one hand and shakes her head. "You even gave me a headache!"

Before the thief could get up again, the lady kicks him back down. She snatches her wallet back and kicks him again. I stare in shock, not believing such a small and fragile looking woman could be so fierce.

"Ma'am, are you ok?" I asked her.

Instead of answering, she searched up the thief, pulling out 10 more wallets.
