Author's note (From both Dhruv and Khushi) : -

Guys, we truly, deeply apologize for this, but in 'Engaged' we are making a time skip. Don't blame Khushi, it's all because of me, Dhruv. I didn't want her to get upset and stressed and all that by writing this, so I totally refused her to write the accidents she's been through while her pregnancy. We will describe them, shortly, in the announcements book if you want to know what had happened, because I'll be writing it, but not in here.

So sorry, everyone.

And well, we're skipping time to now, that is, Khushi's three month pregnancy stage.

2 months later

Dhruv's POV

I woke up early in the morning to find Khushi sleeping soundly.

Well, funny, because we're here, sleeping on the recliner of our room.

How? I'll tell you. Well, it's mostly because my family's crazy.

Well, BREAKING NEWS, I have a younger cousin brother, Akash Singhania, and he's married to one of Khushi's younger cousins, Payal Bhavyesh Singhania. Well, Mamiji and Mamaji (Akash's mother and father) started living with us now because Nani is living with us now, ever since Me and Khushi got married, so, they shifted in too, and they used to live in Delhi before. So, let's get this story back on track. And, guys, Akash and Payal got married about three months before Me and Khushi got married. Khushi didn't make it to the wedding, sadly, well, she was down with fever at that time so she and Arnav didn't attend.

Flashback (Last evening at about 5)

Me and Akash arrived at our house from office. Khushi and Payal were coming soon too, with Arnav, because they had gone to their maternal home for the afternoon.

"What the - " I started.

"Kya hua, Bhai?" Akash asked. (What is it, Bhai?)

"Akash, call up, Di, man. Aur kitni der intezaar kare ghar main jaane se?" I said. (How much longer do we have to wait to go inside?)

"Bhai, Di ko abhi to call kiya tha. Unhone kaha ki Khushi Bhabhi aur Payal ke aane tak hume rukna padega." (Bhai, I'd just called up Di. She said we have to wait until Khushi Bhabhi and Payal are here.)

I peered out of the car, seeing two ladies approaching with Arnav, Khushi in a beautiful pink sari.

Akash and I waved at our wives, and then as I thought to park the car, Mamaji came running, in an - Uniform?

"Good evening, Sir!" He said.

"Mamaji - Aap -" (You - )

"Welcome to Starlight Honeymoon Hotel Sir! Valet parking hai. Mujhe chabi de dijiye." He said, cutting me off. (Valet parking available. Please give me the keys.)

"Papa - aap ye kya kar rahe hai?" Akash tried. (Papa - what are you doing?)

Khushi and Payal came to us, alongwith a surprised Arnav too.

"Dhruv, ye Mamaji kar kya rahe hai?" Khushi asked, holding her baby bump. (Dhruv, what's up with Mamaji?)

"Pata nahi, Bhabhi. Keh rahe hai ye koi Starlight Honeymoon Hotel hai." Akash replied. (No idea, Bhabhi. He's saying this is some Starlight Honeymoon Hotel.)

"Whatever. Andar chal sakte hai na ab, Akash?" I asked. (Can we get inside now, Akash?)

"Ha, Bhai. Chaliye." (Yes, Bhai. Let's go.)

We went in, but our house was looking like a seven star hotel? Why?

We went to the table were RECEPTION was written, shocked to see Mamiji.

"Welcome Sir and Ma'am! Manager Mona at your service." She said.

"Mamiji?" Khushi asked.

"Arey! Main bhul kaise gayi! Director Nani ne mujhe kaha tha ki ek pregnant lady hogi. Baith jaiye Ma'am." Mamiji replied. (Oh God! How can I forget? Director Nani told me that there would be a pregnant lady. Please sit, Ma'am.)

"Nahi, main thikh hoon." Khushi said, smiling. (No, I'm fine.)

"Jiji, ye sab aaj ho kya raha hai?" Payal asked Khushi. (Jiji, what's happening today?)

"Pata nahi, Payal. Intezaar hi karte hai." Khushi said, as Mamiji pretended to book two hotel suites for us. (No idea, Payal. We can only wait.)

"Welcome!" We heard Anjali Di's voice.

"Di?!" Akash asked.

"Di? Kiski Di? Kaun Di? I am Manager Anjali at your service." (Whose Di? Who Di?)

"Dhruv mujhe pakdo, main is melodrama se abhi behosh hone wali hoon." Khushi joked, chuckling. (Dhruv, hold me, I'll faint now due to this melodrama."

"Okay. What is happening?" I asked.

"Woh, Mr. Dhruv Singhania, hume aapki family se pata chala ki aapki aur Mr. Akash ki honeymoon nahi ho payi thi." Di started, the two ladies blushing. (Actually, we got to know from your family that you and Mr. Akash were unable to go to your honeymoon.)

"To isliye humne hotel aapke mansion main khol diya, Sir!" We heard Nani. (So, Sir, that is why we opened up a hotel in your mansion.)

"Okay, I get it now." I sighed.

We went up to our rooms, or so - called suites for the day, which were full of rose petals, candles, fairy lights and red curtains.

"Approved. Very honeymoon - ish." Khushi said, laughing.

I laughed too.

"Okay, let's change and go downstairs." Khushi said.

We changed, and then met Akash and Payal.

We went downstairs, and Di pushed us into a dance.

When it was about 8, we were told to go upstairs, escorted by Mamaji, who took our mobiles.

When we walked into our room again, Mamaji locked the door from outside, and it seemed like the electricity was cut out for only our room in the house. Maybe Akash and Payal's would be the same too.

Khushi lit up all the candles, and there was good light. We had dinner, but then Khushi got up after.

"What?" I asked.

"I'll open the balconies.  I think we'll get some fresh air and light from that." She said.

Then, she suddenly rushed to the bathroom and threw up. I sighed again.

But, mosquitoes rushed in through the two balconies, and the wind blew off the candles.

I drove off the mosquitoes and shut the balconies. Khushi was observing everything, sitting complacently on the bed.

"Matchbox kaha gaya?" I asked, looking around. (Where's the matchbox?)
