Dhruv POV

Sunday Morning.

A/N - Guys, this is very hard and difficult for me, but I think you all deserve to know what all happened. Mature content will be there, and I'm sorry for that. Lots of Sorry. Well, mature, as in cursing and all.

Khushi and I woke up in the morning at 7 and fumbled about.

Later, after breakfast, we went to our room.

"Dhruv," Khushi said "Where's the Oberoi deal file?"

"No idea.. Maybe at office. I'll get it." I said, getting up.

"Uh. I'm bored. I'll go."

"Let me come with you, then."

She gave me the puppy dog eyes, knowing I can't resist them.

A/N - Next comes the biggest mistake of my life. The mistake, due to which I lost my wife and kids, forever.

"Alright, go." I chuckled, tossing her the car keys.

"Thanks!" She yelled, hugging me, and she left.

About two hours later

I was roaming here and there, worried about Khushi. Why hadn't she returned yet?

I'd called her several times, but she didn't pick!

Suddenly, my phone rang.

I took it out in a rush, and saw that Hiral was calling me.

I picked up.

"Hi, Hiral."

"Dhruv, come to the hospital, quick."

"Why?"

"Just come. It's Khushi." She said.

I was shocked at once. Unfortunately, I'd the phone on speaker mode, so everyone heard what Hiral had said. Even my in - laws, who were visiting that day.

Everyone rushed with me to the hospital.

Hiral came out of the operation theatre.

"I'm sorry - Dhruv." She said, in light tears.

She'd become a really close friend of us.

"What? Why?"

"Khushi met with an accident."

There were collective gasps from everyone.

"God, is my daughter okay, beta?" Khushi's mother asked Hiral.

"I'm sorry, Dhruv. We could not save your babies." Hiral said.

I felt like the ground slipped off my feet. As everyone was crying, a few tears escaped my eyes too.

"We found the gender, they were one boy and one girl." Hiral continued.
I looked at Hiral, aghast. Our Suryaksh and Arshi - the same little babies we were expecting.

"Dhruv, that's one news. There's another." Hiral said, and tears escaped her eyes.

"What?" I asked, breathless.

"Unfortunately, Kh - Khushi could not be saved too."

That came as a tsunami to all of us.

Samita Di fell unconscious in Kunal jiju arms, crying. Amma and Ma fell down to the floor, crying.

"Kya paap kiya tha meri bacchi ne?" Amma sobbed. (What sin did my child do?)

I also curled my hand into a fist and fell down on my knees. Babuji, Papa and Anjali Di came to me.
