Chapter Four:

Ellie's POV.

"So are you still single?" My dad asks looking at me seriously, and I'm about to answer yes when I decide to tell him the truth.

"No," I say looking down at my half eaten burger and munch on a fry.

"Who is he? When do I get to meet him? How long?" He starts interrogating me.

"Slow down on the questions," I say laughing lightly, "his name is Justin. And I'm not sure yet. I started seeing him yesterday."

"What's Justin's last name?"

"Bieber," I mumble.

"Bieber? That kid Tami and Ciara are obsessed with?" He asks referring to my two younger sisters.

"Yeah. That's the one," I say taking a sip of my water.

"Well. Is he nice?"

"Yeah. He's really nice," I say smiling and nodding.

"Are we going to get to meet him soon?"

"I'll get back to you on that," I say standing up and heading toward the bathroom.

I take out my phone and check my messages, leaning against the sink. Justin texted me.

Justin: be ready at 7.

Me: ok. I'm at lunch with my dad. He wants to meet you.

He replies rather quickly.

Justin: well. How bout tonight? Instead of just you an me?

Me: ok I'll let you know.

I shove my phone in my pocket and head back to the table.

"He wants to meet you tonight," I say looking at my dad for a reaction.

"Well. Why don't you two come on over and Marissa can make dinner, for everyone," he says talking about my stepmom, Marissa.

"I'll text him," I say whipping out my phone and tapping out a text to Justin.

Me: he says tonight at their place. My stepmom can make dinner for everyone.

Justin: sure what time?

"What time dad?"

"How bout 5?"

"Okay," I say looking back down at my phone.

Me: 5

Justin: be at your place at 4:30

Me: alright see you then

Justin: ok bye

"We will be there," I tell my dad finishing off the rest of my burger.

"Ok, well I'll let you leave now, because I know you have a job to do and what not."

"Thanks dad, how much is it?" I take out my wallet and pull out a twenty. That should suffice for two burgers.

"I got it, don't worry."

"No, you get it everytime! I'm not a kid anymore dad. I can pay for my own food."

"I know you can El, but I got it."

"Are you sure?" I question him raising an eyebrow slightly.

"Positive. Now get going, love you. I'll see you tonight. Dress nicely." He stands up and gives me a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Love you too. I will."

"They're gone hate me," Justin mumbles as we pull into the driveway of my dads house.
