Leo's POV
"Leo, what the hell were you thinking? A party on a school night? On the first day?" My Dad scolded, pinching the bridge of his nose.
I am just sitting down on the chair, facing his desk. I have my hands inside the pockets of my jacket and my head hurts.
I think I drank too much last night. Well, I passed out (not to mention the fact that I found myself waking up by the bleachers) so that explains the pain in all parts of my head.
"Leo?! Are you even listening to me?"
"Look, Dad, I said I'm sorry. Do you want me to write it on a blackboard 30 or 100 times, let's keep it old school? Or write an essay about something like - 'Why you shouldn't throw a party on a school night' ? 1,000 words?" I responded.
"Leo, will you just listen to me for once?"
"How about you listen to me, Dad?" I stand up and walk around his office and I stopped, looking at a picture of me and Dad.
"You never listen to me and I'll never listen to you so I guess we're both even. And maybe we just never pay any attention to each other." I said.
"So you think throwing a party will get my attention? You're unbelievable, Leo." My Dad said, massaging his temples. "Don't make this difficult for me."
I scoffed. "Are you gonna let me go or what? Can I just go back to my dorm?"
"We're not done here, Leo." He sighed. "Even though I'm your father, I am still the principal of this school. So don't think that I'll treat you any differently from the other students here. Throwing a party without asking my permission is very unacceptable plus making one hell of a mess in the gym. And it's only your first day here. I will leave you with a warning but I expect you to pack your things and go home tonight while you're under my watch for two weeks. If you fix yourself up, you can go back to the dorms. And I expect you to write an apology letter." He said.
"Why would I write an apology letter and to whom?" I asked.
"To all of the staff, including me. It's the least you can do. Now pack your stuff from the dorm and I will be the one to drive you home. Classes are cancelled for today." My Dad said, standing up from his seat.
"You'll get the car started?" I asked.
"No. I'll walk you all the way to your dorm room. To make sure that you're not gonna do anything else." He said, walking towards the door and open the door. "Come now, Leo."
I rolled my eyes, headed out of the door and we started walking, on our way to the dorms.
He told me to lead the way while he'll be following me. Once we're out of the building, the sun is starting to set.
We finally arrived at the dorms and we head towards my room. I open the door and I saw Eddie reading a book on his bed.
"Oh hey, Leo." He said, now sitting up on his bed.
"Hey, Eddie," I said and I start packing my bag.
"Going away for a while?" He asked.
I shake my head. "No, I'm going back to my house for two weeks and I'll be back after that. You'll see me around the campus though."
"Is this your roommate, Leo?" My Dad asked, entering the room. "Just grab the things you need for your classes."
"Oh hi, Principal Wright. I'm Edward, Leo's roommate." Eddie said, shaking hands with my Dad.
"Hello, Edward. I hope my son is treating you well." He said.
"Leo's okay, sir," Eddie said, which is true even though we barely chatted with each other.
"Come on, Leo. I'll meet you outside once you're done. Nice to meet you, Edward." My Dad said before leaving the room.
"You too, sir," Eddie replied.
I finished packing and I zipped up my backpack.
"See you after two weeks, roommate," I said, putting one of the backpack slings over my shoulder. "Oh, by the way, in case you and your girlfriend want to spend the night or two here, I don't mind. Just be sure to clean up after." I winked, teasing him of course, and Eddie hits me lightly on the shoulder with his book.
"You're joking right?" Eddie asked.
"It depends on you. See you." I said, patting his shoulder.
"We won't do anything by the way. See you after two weeks." He said, before closing the door.
I started walking out of the building and Dad and I started walking towards the parking lot.
Time to go home, I guess.

Hello there! I hope you enjoy this chapter. I just want to write a chapter about what happened to Leo and what his relationship with his father is like. I'll try to update another chapter soon or tomorrow.
Question: Should I write a chapter about Cora and her backstory or no? I'm not sure how important or necessary her role will be in this story but I want to hear your thoughts about it.
That's all and see you in the next chapter!
