Steven's POV
After hiding for a few weeks, I went back to my house. It appears to be empty. I look to my right and there's a 'For Sale' sign on the front lawn. I guess they moved out.
I walk towards the front door and I pull out a spare key of the house. I unlock the door and open the door. I head inside and I can already feel the empty atmosphere. I close the door and continue looking around, even though there is nothing much to look at.
I let out a sigh and walked up the stairs to the attic. As I made it to the third floor, I stopped and took a look at my room. I twist the door and surprisingly, it's not locked. I head inside and I notice most of my things are gone. But I couldn't care less.
Then something caught my eye. On the table, I saw a box. And I realized it was my dead Mom's music jewelry box.
I walk towards the table and pick it up. I thought I lost it. I walked out of my room and decided to head up to the attic. I pulled the rope and the ladder just came down to the ground before I started climbing it. I made it to the attic and I can see a lot of things being tucked away.
At least, I still have the music box.
I sat down on the floor and whined up the music box. I put it down before tilting my head a bit to the side, staring into the music box.
While humming along with the music, I can imagine hearing the screams of my brother, Stefan, who is stuck in the asylum.
"You got the wrong person! Now let me out!"
I just smile at that thought as I continue humming along with the music box and I turn my head to the left, staring at the window.
"I wonder how little Aurora is doing right now?"
She's probably taking care of our baby. I wonder if it's a boy or a girl.
She could be anywhere. I don't even know where to fucking start. The fact she left me, pisses me off. Why would she leave me with our child? I can feel my blood boiling.
I'll find her. I'll do whatever it takes to find her.
~ 4 YEARS LATER ~
Four years have passed and I've been searching for her everywhere and I ended up being in a whole different town. I ended up being in a shitty apartment and also ended up working at a cheap photo store. I changed everything about myself and changed my name since the police were still looking for me.
They don't know when to give up. So I have to keep a low profile and have to live with my own identity.
I am now... Seth, not Steven. I am still Steven but he's inside me. I felt like I had a different yet almost the same personality.
