Hello there! Sorry but not another chapter however I'll try to update later since I have some free time today. But of course, after updating, I have to do my schoolwork and study ahead of time so I will have fewer things to do in the following days.

Anyways, I'm going to answer a question from adveita from the last note I updated a few days ago.

Question:     Author...i would love to hear more about Steven's obesession on Aurora.....like exactly when did his obsession started...from book 1,we know that it was when aurora bumped into him at school.....

Is that the first time he saw her or he saw her even before that?? and according to Stefen, all steven wants is love and affection, if that is the case, why does steven punishes and torture Aurora???

So here's my answer. That's honestly a good observation and question by the way. There will be an upcoming prequel once I finish the sequel and it will unravel Steven's past when he was little and the story will go on until the present Steven.

We all know that Aurora is caring and loving towards Toby and her mother, so I guess you could say that Aurora's loving and caring personality captured Steven's attention and that is why he wants love and affection from Aurora because he wasn't able to experience that kind of stuff since he grew up without a mother figure or he doesn't know what it's like to feel loved.

Also, we all know that Steven is not right in the head and obviously a psychopath, so there would be twists and turns in the story. If you remember Lizzie from the first story, aka Steven's friend, who made an appearance on Chapters 9 and 10 and she was also mentioned in the sequel, she is different from Aurora. Lizzie is just a party girl kind of person while Aurora is more of the opposite. That is why she kind of stands out from other girls from Steven's point of view.

I'm not gonna say much about the prequel because obviously, it should be a surprise for you guys. The prequel will also focus on other factors like the relationship of Steven and Stefan when they're little, their relationship with their father, how Steven turns to this sadistic psychopath, and other factors that you'll get to know once the prequel is out.

Now another thing that I would like to explain. Since Steven is all about his obsession with Aurora and wants nothing more than craving for her love and attention yet he still punishes and tortures her. So why is that? Other than the fact that he's very sadistic, we all know that it was being revealed in the sequel that Steven can hear this voice. This voice would tell him things and of course, Steven would talk back to the voice.

I'm going a bit off-topic but let me explain this voice. The voice in Steven's head is kind of like a symbolic interpretation that he's close to madness or losing his mind. If there are moments Steven is not talking back to the voice, it's usually because the voice kind of takes over him or more like Steven is being the psychotic killer himself. Or more like the voice is Steven himself.

Okay back to explaining the reason why Steven would torture and punish Aurora. It's simply because he is sadistic and he finds joy in torturing others and he thinks pain would make the person learn their lesson. He also wants to make sure that Aurora won't leave him or disobey him so he does that by torturing and punishing her so it will also teach her a lesson and he enjoys seeing people in pain, including Aurora. In general, Steven thinks torturing and punishing Aurora would make her quiet and obedient so he can get away with things.

Also, if you could remember in the first story, when Aurora and Steven bumped into each other in school, I guess you could say that it's just a coincidence I guess (?). I have no other things to explain it.
