The next morning, everyone left Ajan Kloss.
There was no longer any reason for the Resistance to continue, as the galaxy was now free.

Nomi sat relaxed in the co-pilot's seat while her husband launched the Outrider.
Her sons, who were on board the Aquarius, were already on their way. The former Resistance commander had given them the freighter because she knew her beloved ship would be in good hands.
Dash glanced at his wife before concentrating on the readouts again and waiting for them to show that they reached the jump point.
"You look happy, love," he said as he entered the coordinates for their next destination into the nav computer.
"I am happy, Dash," she replied and began to hum a popular song.
Yes, she had every reason to be happy. The Emperor was finally gone for good and her whole family had survived the Battle of Exegol.
"Where are we going now, darling?" The Jedi Master asked as she made herself more comfortable in the seat.
Her husband answered her with a smile.
"There's someone waiting for our return on a certain swamp planet."
"Leebo," Nomi chuckled. "So we're going to Dagobah. I'm pretty sure he thinks we've forgotten about him."
The former mercenary laughed as he reached the jump point and pushed the lever. In a fraction of a second, the stars dissolved into the streaks and swirls of hyperspace.

After a long journey through hyperspace, talking about the new life that lay ahead of them, the signal finally sounded that they had reached their destination. Dash Rendar pulled the lever and the Outrider re-entered real space.
"Here we are... Dagobah. Home sweet home," he said with a broad grin.
His wife came into the cockpit, sat in the co-pilot's seat and strapped in.
"This will be the last time we're here, darling. Leebo will be happy," Nomi said as she looked out of the cockpit window.
Dash steered the freighter towards the planet and it wasn't long before the Outrider entered the atmosphere.

When they landed in the clearing near their hut, there was no Leebo to be seen. The whole place looked deserted. Dash cut the engines, rose from his seat and walked over to the hatch. He pressed the button and it opened with a hiss as the ramp lowered.
"I hope we're not in for a bad surprise," he said, turning his head to his wife, who followed him.
Nomi put a hand on his shoulder.
"We'll see, Dash," the former commander said.
Then she walked past her husband and headed down the ramp. When she reached the bottom of the ramp, there was a clanking sound and the squeaking of joints that hadn't seen lubricant in years.
"What took you so long, Dash?"
There was clearly a hint of annoyance in the droid's voice.
"We've been pretty busy, Leebo," Dash replied with a smile. "But we're here now, and I promise you'll get the best lubricant when we get to Coruscant."
Nomi suppressed a grin as the droid managed to look like he doubted Dash's claim.
She entered the hut that the Rendar family had called home since their hasty departure from Coruscant.

The Jedi Master looked around and noticed that everything was in good condition. Leebo had done a good job, even without their presence. The droid had indeed deserved an oil bath with the best lubricant available.
Dash had followed her and put his arms around her.
"Time to say goodbye and start a new life, darling," he whispered in Nomi's ear.
"Yes, we should pack what we want to take with us," the Jedi Master replied as she pulled away from his embrace and walked over to the locker.
She opened it and began to sort through the items stored there.
In the end, several crates were packed and Leebo helped to carry them over and stow them in the cargo hold of the Outrider.
Nomi and Dash took one last look at the hut they had lived in. They thought of how their children had played in the swamp, guarded by Leebo, and how Tasherit occasionally brought home a creature she had found there. But now there was no reason to stay in exile.
Now they could live on Coruscant again.
Hand in hand, they walked up the boarding ramp, followed by Dash's trusty droid, who was also happy to be leaving Dagobah.
After settling into the cockpit, Dash punched in the coordinates for Coruscant, the old capital planet of the Republic before Palpatine proclaimed the First Galactic Empire and renamed the planet Imperial Center.
Shortly afterwards, the YT-2400 freighter ascended into the cloudy skies of Dagobah, headed for the jump point and made the jump into hyperspace.

It was another long journey before they finally reached their destination.
As the Outrider re-entered real space, they saw the planet before them, glittering like a Corusca gem, the planet's namesake. It didn't take long before they were given permission to enter the planet's atmosphere.
Dash skillfully navigated the freighter through the heavy traffic until they reached the Rendar building. The building that had been confiscated by the Empire back then. The former mercenary steered the Outrider to the building's landing platform and landed smoothly.
A few minutes later, he and his wife entered the building. Nomi looked in amazement at the newly renovated rooms. Her husband had ordered the renovation and repair work from Dagobah.
Dash held her hand as he showed her around.
"It's not the former Imperial Palace," he said with a grin. "But it's the place where I was born and raised. It's my home and from now on it's your home too, my love."
His wife smiled at him and gave him a kiss.
"It's very nice, darling, and a good place to enjoy our retirement," she said as she walked over to the coat rack.
The Jedi Master opened her weapon belt, took it off and hung it on a hook.
She was pretty sure she would never need it again.
