Corran was on his way to the hangar where the transports were ready for takeoff.
But he had no intention of following Vice Admiral Holdo's order like all the others he saw. His hand touched the blaster in his holster. It was set to stun, as Poe had asked him to do. This mutiny would be bloodless. And with any luck, Holdo would be reasonable.

The young Jedi went to his assigned post and did his duty. Or rather, he pretended to do his duty while keeping an eye on his surroundings. He was pretty sure it wouldn't be long before the other mutineers, led by Poe, would spring into action. He saw them also pretending to do their assigned tasks as they waited for Vice Admiral Holdo to appear. Poe walked around the hangar, looking here, helping there. Nothing indicated that anything was going on. Still, the tension was palpable for those who had eyes.
Poe walked over to Corran, who was carrying a crate into one of the transports.
"Are you ready?" He asked quietly.
The young pilot nodded and took the next crate. The first members of the Resistance were already boarding some of the transports when the vice admiral entered the hangar bay along with Captain Namit, Commander D'Acy and a female officer Corran didn't know.
Dameron saw them and beckoned Lieutenant Connix, Nodin Chavdri, the Abednedo pilot C'ai Threnalli and another female pilot to follow him before hurrying to join them.
Corran watched from a distance, ready to intervene if necessary. They had all hoped that Holdo would be reasonable and finally comply with Poe, but her body language suggested otherwise. Then the mutineers drew their blasters and pointed them at the vice admiral and her entourage while Dameron made his way to the makeshift bridge. So far, so good.
It looked like they would succeed with their plan and there would be no evacuation of the only remaining capital ship. Corran breathed a sigh of relief, but continued to keep an eye on his comrades and those they were holding in check, his hand still lingering over his blaster.

But the mutiny was to be unexpectedly short-lived. Everyone was surprised when the purple-haired vice admiral sprang into action.
In an instant, the hangar was filled with mist, shouting and blaster fire. Corran found himself in the middle of all the chaos, fumbling for his blaster when the stun shot hit him. This wouldn't have happened to him if he wasn't hiding in the Force, but as it was, the young Jedi was as vulnerable as any normal being.
He dropped to the ground, his limbs went limp and he lost consciousness. When he came to, he was unable to resist as they tied him up. An older soldier looked at Corran and shook his head.
"I would have expected better from a Rendar offspring."
He waved two other soldiers over.
"Get him into the transport."
Before they dragged Corran into the transport, he saw General Organa and Vice Admiral Holdo standing in front of a stunned Poe, who was lying on a stretcher. The two women were talking to each other while Dameron was taken into another transport. It was the last thing Corran saw before the hatch closed behind him.

They took Corran Rendar to a seat, pushed him in and strapped him in. No one bothered to untie his hands. Unable to move, the young Jedi looked out of the viewport. He cursed inwardly, ashamed to be in this state. But no one was looking at the failed mutineer. The transport took off and entered the cold vacuum of space, with a destination unknown to most on board.
They all knew that the Supremacy and many smaller enemy ships were still out there. All would depend on the cloaking devices and the speed of the transports.
The young man saw the planet that appeared to be their destination when a bright flash was seen, where seconds before there had been a transport.
Corran couldn't believe that had just happened, but then the next transport exploded nearby. Somehow, the First Order troops knew that the evacuation of the Admiral Raddus was in full swing.
The Jedi saw the Mega-class Star Dreadnought looming in the distance, and he knew it would fire again to snuff out the nearest transport and the lives and hopes of those aboard. He sighed and prepared himself to become space dust in the next moment as well.
But then something unexpected happened. The Admiral Raddus turned around.

Corran saw that the engines had been activated for a final jump into hyperspace. He knew there wouldn't be enough fuel for a second jump if the First Order fleet followed the capital ship. But from the approach angle, the experienced pilot could see that escape was not the intention of the pilot or whoever was at the controls. He held his breath, and then the Admiral Raddus made the jump straight through the Supremacy and disappeared. Many of the smaller Dreadnoughts were caught up in the aftermath of the jump and the explosion of their giant sister ship.
This was the chance for the last remaining transports of the Resistance. They flew at full throttle towards the planet and landed a few minutes later. Corran breathed a sigh of relief.
"So we're going to make our last stand on Crait," he heard someone say.
