The Rendar triplets sat in the middle section of the Glorious as they traveled through hyperspace. It was clear that the last mission had taken its toll, but they were also proud of their performance. At the same time, they knew only too well that they had violated everything Luke Skywalker had taught them at his academy. But it no longer mattered to them since what they had experienced during the attack on the academy. The dark side or the light side of the Force...they would use anything to stop the First Order.
Nomi could feel her sons' emotions and was glad that their Jedi Master wasn't there.
Thoughtfully, she took a sip of caf. Had her sons really made the right decision when they joined the Resistance?
"A credit for your thoughts, honey," Dash said, sitting down next to her.
The Jedi smiled at her husband and took another sip of caf.
Rendar interpreted this as a sign that she didn't want to talk about it and knew it would be pointless to try to find out. So he just poured himself a mug of caf, leaned back and enjoyed the hot liquid.

During the long flight with several hyperspace jumps, the mood on board improved and was back to normal when they heard the signal indicating that they had reached their destination.
Dash entered the cockpit, sat in the pilot's seat and pulled the lever. The eerie light and streaks of hyperspace changed to the blackness of space with D'Qar in front of him.
"Home sweet home," he said quietly before hailing ground control.
It wasn't long before he was given permission to land.
As Dash landed with the Glorious, he saw Admiral Ackbar and Major Ematt waiting for them on the landing pad.
He cut the engines and joined the others, who had already opened the hatch and lowered the ramp.
One by one, the six members of the commando unit left the freighter, which, contrary to expectations, had taken them to their destination and back without any problems.
Followed by Admiral Ackbar, Major Ematt walked towards Poe.
"Was the mission successful, Commander Dameron?" He asked, looking at the young man expectantly.
Dameron nodded.
"It really was a First Order facility, Major. Our informant was right," he replied. "We destroyed it. Whatever was being researched there can no longer harm the New Republic."
Ematt gave Ackbar a worried glance.
"So the First Order has really dared to enter the territory of the New Republic. We must put a stop to this."
The Mon Calamari nodded in agreement.
"We have to warn the government on Hosnian Prime. Someone must listen to us and recognize the danger before it's too late. We can't let a new Empire arise and destroy everything we've fought for."
Then he took Poe aside and talked to him quietly. From time to time, he looked at the three young Jedi and nodded.
Both of them then went back and Ackbar turned to the triplets.
"As I have just been informed by Commander Dameron, the three of you have distinguished yourselves through exceptional bravery. I therefore have the pleasure of promoting you. Lieutenant Dash Rendar, Lieutenant Biggs Rendar, Lieutenant Corran Rendar, I congratulate you on your promotion."
Nomi and Dash looked proudly at their sons and regretted that Tasherit couldn't be there for her brothers' promotion. She had been away from the base for more than a standard month and they were beginning to worry.

When Ackbar and Ematt had left, Poe slapped the newly promoted brothers on the shoulders.
"Congratulations, guys, we should celebrate." He turned to their parents. "Are you joining us?"
Dash shook his head.
"No, I need a shower. And I think Nomi would rather take a nice shower than celebrate with you guys, too."
His wife nodded.
"Sounds like a good idea," Nomi replied and winked at her husband. After the long journey on the freighter, which had no shower, it was exactly what she needed. "Have fun. I'll see you in the evening."
Then she took her husband's hand and together they walked to their quarters.
