The whole school had gathered in the great hall, they just stood there, 4 piles of Blue, red, yellow, and green all waiting to be addressed by the headmaster with their eyes facing the floor
"Many of you are surely wondering why I have summoned you at this hour. It has come to my attention that this evening... Harry Potter was sighted in Hogsmeade. Now, should anyone... student or staff attempt to aid Mr. Potter they will be punished in a manner consistent with severity of their transgression. Furthermore... any person found to have knowledge of these events who fails to come forward will be treated as... equally guilty. Now then...if anyone here has any knowledge of Mr. Potter's movements this evening... I invite them to step forward... now"

everyone in the order, McDonald, Parkinson, and a few more random students smashed the doors open. bit of a superhero moment, and I loved it

Snape pulled out his wand, everyone backed against the wall, McGonagall pushed Potter out of the way and whipped her wand out.
He hesitated for a second, but then asserted confidence again. I wonder if he still cared about McGonagall? He certainly looked upset- well, as upset as Snape can look
She sent the first curse, the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, the seventh, and the eighth and the ninth. He reflected them all, not shooting any back at her, maybe he does still care...
it wasn't until the tenth curse that he reflected it backwards so the two carrows passed out and he kind of disappeared, it was weird as if he were jumping as well
"COWARD!" she shouted after him
The hall erupted into cheers, light, and clapping. It didn't last long
"Harry" The dark lord's voice rippled through the air.
A terrified scream broke out, it was a little second year. Then another scream, Parvati Patil, her scream was drowned out by the dark lord's voice once again, this time it felt like he was right next to me, as if he were whispering in my ear
"I know that many of you will want to fight. Some of you may think that to fight is wise but this is folly. Give me Harry Potter. Do this and none shall be harmed. Give me harry potter and I shall leave Hogwarts untouched. Give me Harry Potter and you will be rewarded. You have one hour"
Silence
The crowd parted into two, leaving just Potter, Parkinson, and Longbottom standing in the middle
"what are you waiting for? Someone grab him!" Astoria, shut up, just shut up.
The old DA members, stood in front of him and at his side, protecting him as if to say 'you have to get through us first'

the other houses started clapping and cheering once again. I felt annoyance and anger.
Nah that isn't okay. She's locking them up in the dungeon? Is she fucking kidding? Slytherins are not animals to be locked up in a cage because they're dangerous, there are only a few there that have families who follow the dark lord. As in four people, FOUR, and she's sending them to the dungeon? Fuck no, forget what I said about liking her. There are plenty of people there that wouldn't ever dream of hurting Potter, let alone kill him that's actually so fucking messed up
"what is happening Hermione?" the dark lord asked. We were standing on a huge cliff across from Hogwarts
"Snape and McGonagall had a fight over Potter, and they just locked up every Slytherin in the dungeon" we watched as colors and light made a dome around the castle, they're trying to protect themselves
"they never learn, such a pity"
"my lord... Draco and I were wondering if- if we could just go free our friends? They could help us you know" I knew most of them wouldn't, but I had to get them out
"... okay, apparate before they finish the enchantments"
I nodded and took Draco's hand. We disapparated
