"come on, you can't be sad about it forever"
A few minutes after I admitted my feelings for him Astoria had burst in and announced Draco had asked her to the ball, Of course, that made everything worse. Wren was trying to make me come with them to buy our dresses
"I'm not feeling up to it Wren" I groaned, trying to get back to sleep
"you need to get out of bed Mione, this is the only Hogsmeade trip before the ball, this is the only chance you'll get so come on" as usual when I don't want to do something, she pulled me out of the bed
"fine! Fine, I'll go, but only if we don't go anywhere near Astoria or Draco"
"That was a given, Daphne is gonna meet us outside, you get changed into... this" she chucked an outfit that matched with hers.
I don't get what her deal with matching our clothes together is

"Which shop is the best for prom dresses again?"
We had just gotten off the carriages with Daphne, and had successfully stayed away from Astoria and Draco,
"madam milkins is probably best" I suggested, they agreed and we set off to the familiar robes shop
"ah hello, ladies! Dresses for the ball I presume?" the woman in question asked as she was fitting another girl for a dress
"Yeah, would you mind if we take a look around?"
"Oh yes, go on" she smiled and left us to venture into the shop for ourselves
"What colors are you guys getting? I kinda want a rose gold or a blue one" we were looking at a large wardrobe of dresses
"I'm thinking... green" Daphne always likes supporting our house as much as physically possible
"probably black and white, or just white. to match my hair" wren says
"oh yeah, who are you two going with?" I asked as I pulled out a dress and looked at it
"I'm going with Blaise" Wren smiled at the thought of him, she is hopelessly in love at this point
"I'm going with Theo" the only way Daphne could go would be to go with someone from our year
"is he still upset I said no?"
"Nah, he's cool, I think the only reason he asked you was because he had no one to go with, to be honest" that helped my anxiety over losing theo
