You give Sebastian a birthday gift he can't hold for a few more months. Then surprise, there isn't just one!

Sebastian was coming home today for a week off. It just so happened the first day he was coming home was his birthday. A lot of people tried to tell me I should throw him a big surprise party. As fun as that would be for the rest of us, that isn't his type of a good time. So we did plan a night of drinks with friends in a couple days, but I had a plan of my own.
I got him a funny cake and candles, made his favorite dinner, and got him a great present. I got everything set up just before he was due to be home.
He opened the door and I popped a little confetti popper at him with a big smile, "Happy birthday, baby!" His smile was huge as he chuckled and shut the door. "Thank you, sweetheart." He pulled me to him to kiss me.
I wrapped my arms around him, and he smiled against my lips. He pulled back and looked around, taking note of my decorations and set-up for our mini-party. "What's this, sweetheart?" "For your birthday, baby. To celebrate my favorite guy being one more year older."
I took him over to the table, holding his hand. He saw the cake and laughed. "Cute, sweetheart." "A hermit crab cake for my favorite crabby hermit." I joked.

I lit the candles and he kissed me before blowing them out. "You are amazing." He said softly. We had some cake, then dinner.
"Okay, now open your present." I said happily as I pushed it to him. He chuckled. "You didn't need to get me anything, sweetheart. A night of just us is all I could want." "You're going to love this, though.... or at least I'm hoping because I can't return it."
He pulled out the first thing - the distraction to hide the real present at the bottom.

He laughed, "Thank you, sweetheart." "You're welcome. Look again.. there's one more thing in there."
There was a note on the small box with the surprise inside. 'I wanted to plan us a trip to Greece, but it had to be moved to next summer. And we will need to make some adjustments to our original plans.'
