Your best friend is Sebastian. You have a slight secret that you have feelings, but when you get the courage to tell him he first tells you he met someone. What happens when she sees through your cover and outs it to Sebastian?

Warnings: Not much? Hidden feelings, almost betrayal of a relationship./

It's over 4000 words, so it's a longer one.

I decided today I was going to ask Seb to go to dinner next week when he comes home. This little crush on him has gotten serious enough that I want to do something about it. I want to tell him; about my feelings, about wanting to go out and see what this could be.

We talk every single day. So, when we talk tonight and he tells me about his morning on set I would just lay it out for him. I mean, what's the worst that can happen when we're this close? It's awkward for a couple weeks then we go back to being just friends.

His face popped up and I smiled. "Hi, Seb!" His smile grew to match mine. "Hi! How's your day, sweetheart?" I shrugged, "It's been okay. Not much has happened. But what about you? What's going on with you?"

"I actually do have a little bit of news. I met someone!" His face was shining brightly. But those words shattered my heart.

I felt my entire body deflate. He was ecstatic, and I was broken. I finally get the courage to tell him I like him, and he meets someone; someone who has him smiling like a little kid. So much for my secret. "Oh. Yeah?" Was all I could get out.

He nodded, "She's amazing, you'll like her. She's smart, and funny.. and God is she beautiful. I have seen her at this coffee place a couple times, but then I met her this morning. She gave me her number and asked me to dinner. We're going out tomorrow night."

The smile on his face was so genuine and pure. God I love that smile. But I felt the crack in my heart get bigger. He's met someone and he is this excited about her. I can't put my feelings for him on top of this, that wouldn't be fair.

"You'll really like her, she reminds me of you a bit, actually." What was meant to make me excited to meet this girl only further inflicted pain.

He's excited that she reminds him of me, but what about me? Why doesn't the actual me make him feel this way? But I kept a smile on my face as best as I could to support him.

I shrugged, "I'm sure if you say she's this great then I'll get along with her just fine." He nodded then went on for a few minutes about how excited he is about their date. He told me a little bit about her and how their conversation went. Thankfully I got interrupted by a call, so I had to hang up from my heartbreaking talk.

Two weeks later...
I was really anxious, which was seeping into my actions. I was fussing with my braids, pulling at my fingers and chewing the inside of my cheeks. The car was going to stop soon, and I'd be faced with meeting Michelle. Sebastian is over the moon that I could meet with them. He's wild about her after this last bit they've been together.
