Out of all people, I get paired with KENDRA. KENDRA WILLIAMS.

How could my life get any worse?

I gave my Japanese friend a frightened look where she stood a few feet away from me.

She pouted and gave me a thumbs up, motioning me that I'll be fine.

But then I looked at Kendra again. I was NOT pleased to be with her in the same group.

And I didn't even like Hannah much because she was super rude and turned everything into a competition.

Josie was... okay. I mean she was nice but not really interesting.

I met up with my mess of a group. "Uh, Roman Empire exhibit first?" I asked.

They all nodded and we went over to it.

As we were walking there, I heard Kendra say, "This is probably the most boring exhibit."

Josie agreed with her.

"Hey, the Roman Empire was very interesting. Lots of blood and stuff. Way more entertaining than life today," I objected.

Kendra muttered, "Wow, so glad we got the brainiac in our group. Just when I thought it wouldn't get anymore boring."

I glared at her. "Lighten up," I mumbled, even though I practically felt the same way.

She sighed and decided to give it a chance I guess.

Hannah pulled out her phone and took pictures of the exhibit, even though it strictly said NOT to take photos. I nudged her.

"Hey, it says not to take pictures."

She rolled her eyes and just shrugged and walked away from me to show Josie the pictures she took.

Kendra was drifting towards the map so we all followed her, since we didn't know what else to do.

Hannah suddenly looked interested. She pointed to the Ottoman Empire exhibit.

"Hey, let's go there! WAYYY more interesting than this Roman Empire stuff."

She elbowed Josie in the ribs. "Am I right??"

"Uh-huh, for SURE!" she agreed.

I glared at them as we skipped to that exhibit.
