Onyx 🤐
I floated behind Hannah, Josie, and Kendra to the pirates. Josie turned around and said, "Onyx you should hid- Oh."

She looked around, noticing she couldn't see me. "Andd she's gone," she said.

I smirked to myself and grabbed her shoulder, which made her yelp and jump. I laughed.

"I learned how to make myself invisible and be able to touch things since I always pass through things!"

Josie scowled. "That's not funny, Onyx."

"Oh, lighten up," I said.

"Focus, y'all," interrupted Kendra.

We all went up to the pirates, me being invisible so they don't see me. All of them turned around. "Hello, lassies!" boomed Blackbeard.

"What brings you here?" asked Long Ben.

I snickered to myself quietly. That name always sounded funny to me. I decided not to mention that to my group or the pirates, though.

Hannah raised her chin. "We surrender."

They all looked like they had been hit in the middle of their forehead by a hard object. "Surrendering?" questioned Black Bart. "That's not something you hear everyday..."

"We're being honest," Kendra insisted.

The pirates exchanged looks and then they all nodded. "Fine. We shall negotiate," announced Blackbeard.

Everyone nodded and started negotiating. I listened to them but my thoughts got the better of me.

I secretly had some doubt. I had a feeling that I'd never get to be in my own body again.

Not that it was that big of a deal, but I did want to at least say goodbye to Okemia.

She'd probably make fun of me if she found out that I was a spirit, though.

I snapped my attention back to the pirates and my groupmates. They were giving the treasure to the pirates. The pirates all grinned to themselves. Typical.

The pirates all lead us back to their ship, which looked like it would fall apart the moment you set foot on it. It had rotten wooden floor boards and smelled like fish.

It was disgusting. The pirates spread their arms welcomingly at it. "Isn't she a beauty?" asked Long Ben.

Kendra, Hannah, and Josie tried nodding enthusiastically. "Okay, lassies! Board the beautiful Royal Fortune!" exclaimed Black Bart.

Pretty name, but doesn't fit the description, I thought as soon as Black Bart said the name of the ship. But we did as they said. We hopped onto the Royal Fortune.
