Onyx 🤐
We made it back to the museum. I muttered to myself under my breath, "This won't work."
I mean, how would pirate costumes from a normal party store fool REAL pirates? I know this was my idea but it was really stupid. If all goes wrong, I suppose being a spirit won't be too bad. At least I won't have to attend school anymore!
The three girls went to the bathroom to change into their outfits. I waited outside for them to change, practicing how to move with this new body.
I flew around the hallway, flipping and spinning around.
I felt one with the air. It was pretty swag to be honest.
I even realized I can make myself poof out of thin air and teleport to another place.
Then, I saw Kendra, Hannah, and Josie walk out of their stalls and they looked believable enough.
"Hey, guys can I have all the coins you guys have?"
"Uh, why?" I asked.
"Well, to pose as pirates, we need the treasure."
We all agreed and Josie said, "Smart move buying the gold spray paint."
They gave their coins to Kendra and she fished out her own.She lay them on the ground and spray painted them. After about 10 minutes, they eventually dried.
Josie scooped them up and put them in her bag. We walked out of the bathroom (well, I drifted out of the bathroom) and we went to the pirates.
"Wait," I said.
They all turned around to look at me."Um, I have to hide. The pirates would know it's you guys if I go with you since I'm a spirit."
Kendra pursed her lips. "Okay. Just make sure you keep an eye on us, alright?"
I nodded. Then I watched as my group went up to the pirates.
Hannah held her head up high, the way she always did when challenging someone.
"Pirates, we challenge you to a battle."
