Human Again

Man. That was the hardest I've ever worked in my life.

I was about to congratulate myself, but Onyx just collapsed right next to me.

She looked super pale. But, there was something else I noticed: she had legs. And arms.

And other human body parts. That means that WE DID IT!! "You guys!" I shouted.

"Look at Onyx!" Josie and Hannah looked down and grinned from ear to ear.

"We did it. We actually did it. The nightmare is over."

My group mates hugged each other and jumped up and down.

I let them celebrate a bit, then I told them, "Yeah yeah. It's great and all, but we still need to wake up Onyx. Help me move her."

Hannah and Josie each grabbed one of Onyx's legs, and I grabbed her arms. "Lift!" We lifted her up and propped her against a tombstone.

Man, I wish I had my backpack right now. As soon as I thought that, it appeared right next to me.

I immediately opened it and grabbed my water bottle.

I opened the bottle and splashed it on Onyx's face.

We waited for a few moments, then I splashed her with more water. The color came back to her face and she started coughing.

She opened her eyes and looked at her now soaked clothes. "Why am I wet?" I laughed.

"Seriously? You're human again and you decide to ask why you're wet?"

"Hey! It's a valid question."

"I had to splash you with water because you wouldn't wake up."

My dark haired friend stood up and looked at her body. "I..I'M HUMAN AGAIN!"

She gave me a high five. "Let's go back to the museum", Josie said.

"We need to see if everything is normal again."
