Chapter 18

My shoulder was healing but it was still annoying. I went to the bathroom and shook the last two Tylenol pills out of the bottle in the mirrored cabinet and swallowed them. Miranda left a couple of hours ago, she had a meeting with the three lords. Yes, there was no ceremony now, Rose was safe but, knowing her she will continue with her Mother Miranda role. I actually don't mind, there was just one rule, no bioweapons. I picked up the phone placed next to bed.

"Y/n?, darling it has been a while. Why don't you come to my Castle?"

"Alci, sorry I wanted to call you but I've been very busy lately. Sure I'm on my way"

"I'll be waiting for you dear." Alcina said in her usual flirty tone.

While I waited for the Tylenol to kick in, I got dressed with my green parka, black jeans and black boots.
What must have been an hour later, my brain wore itself out thinking of all the inventive ways I'd like to tell Alcina that I'm her friend, not something else, as she thinks.

Before knocking, Daniela opened the door and leaded me to her mother. Inside the castle it was warm enough for me to relax, on my way to Alcina's chambers a loud scream of a woman sent shivers down my spine. I knew that the maidens here would usually last no more than two weeks because either Lady Dimitrescu would drain them out of blood or her daughters will tear her skin apart and then also drain them. I still didn't have a clue why Alcina haven't tried to kill me yet, I guess Miranda is right. She wants to have an affair with me, then I may end like them. I like to think it's just Miranda's imagination because I really enjoy her company, I consider her and Donna my friends.
Lady Dimitrescu's door eased open and revealed her with a beautiful white nightgown. She motioned her hands pointing the chair for me to sit.

"Y/n... you are here darling, how I missed you" she said biting her lips.

"Oh hi, I've missed you too" I scratched the back of my neck, I know what she's trying to do.

"Come here, that chair Is very uncomfortable dear" you were afraid of her, and didn't want to refute, so you obeyed and sat on her lap.

"Oh my. How alluring your beauty is" she placed her hand in your thigh , which was almost four times bigger than yours.

"Alcina, w-what are you doing?"

"Oh darling come on, don't you want me?" She said as she continued to move her hand up and down.

"I-I have a girlfriend" you muttered, hoping she wouldn't be mad at your response.

"And who is the lucky one may I ask?" Lady Dimitrescu stated and then removed your parka revealing the tattoo on your left wrist she read it out loud.

"Miranda"

"Um... do you want me bring you some wine?"

"This...? There's no way you worship her, I know you. Is Miranda your girlfriend?" She widened her eyes at you but not a single word escaped from your mouth. You tried to go to the kitchen for some wine, most of all to avoid the situation. But her arms were secured around your hips.

"Alci, i think it's time to go for me, I have a lot of things to do". You heard some footsteps outside, but you assumed it was Daniela or Cassandra, since they were the only ones allowed in Lady Dimitrescu's private chambers.

"But my dear you've just arrived" she grabbed your face closer to her and kissed you, she was so strong that you couldn't even move to pull away from the kiss. Still with your eyes wide open you saw Miranda almost removing the door from its frame, her face was different, her eyes were burning from anger. She noticed your unsuccessful attempt to evade Lady Dimitrescu's kiss. With a superhuman strength she grabbed Alcina and throw her into the oversized bed, making it break instantly.
