The day had finally come for Kim Taehyung to take his first steps at Cheong A Arts College for Talents, or CAACT, for those who are far too lazy to pronounce it. CAACT was one of the most prestigious colleges in Seoul; it's difficult to say it was the best for artists in all of South Korea, but it was well-known almost everywhere.

Kim Taehyung was able to participate because of his ambition. If not, he'd probably end up at Baekseok Arts University in Seoul, which was also a good option because Cheong A was on a level that Taehyung couldn't match. The most important thing was that he was going to be focused on music, which he had recently become interested in. About a year ago.

"Fuck." Taehyung cursed under his breath as he was finally allowed to enter college and finally do something worthwhile in his twenty years of life.

To be honest, he was terrified. There were a lot of students around him, but that wasn't the issue. Don't think he's anti-social or has anxiety issues; he just wanted to know who his "rivals" were and what they were like. He didn't come in to make friends; he came to make his debut as an artist, an idol.

There were boys dancing freestyles, others practicing vocals, and just some students minding their own business.

Taehyung's first impression was that most of them appeared to come from wealthy families. According to their clothing brands, latest phone models, shoes, and even jewellery, Taehyung would refer to all of them as Mommy and Daddy's little spoilt kids.

The brown-haired man blew air up to his hair because it was getting in his eyes, then entered the college's lobby casually with a bag in his hand. He wasn't the only one who had to travel a long distance to get his documents, keys, and so on.

He sighed and took his phone from his pocket, scrolling through his social media accounts. He would mostly be on Twitter or Instagram, reading articles or watching other people's lame photos of them in relationships.

Taehyung then discovered a photo on Instagram of a girl from his previous school wearing a Seoul University uniform: "She is literally as sharp as marbles." He scoffed and quickly clicked the mute button, as he was not in the mood to see people who got into good colleges without any knowledge.

Outside, there was a loud noise, as if it came from a car or motorcycle. Taehyung simply ignored it with a questionable frown and returned to his phone while waiting for his turn.

When it was almost his turn, it took a few minutes. He remembered to take his ID card from his wallet and show it to the woman later. His expression quickly changed the moment his eyes were drawn to the photo there. "Ugh, I changed it only last year," he thought to himself, remembering how much uglier he looked last year.

It was only one step away from being his turn, but a complete stranger decided to make his day even worse with his movement. He didn't even bother bowing or greeting the woman. He simply handed her his ID card and waited for her to inspect his documents.

"Who do you think you are? A fucking God?" Taehyung exhaled uncontrollably and managed to bite the other with his words.

When the man in front of him was finished, he took his ID from the woman and showed it to Taehyung, saying, "The name is Jeon fucking Jeongguk, darling." The other almost puked at the way the boy showed a lazy smirk at him.

"And I didn't inquire."

"But you asked as if I were a god, am I wrong?" he replied innocently to the other. All of the students behind Taehyung became enraged and began cursing random words at the boys who had stopped the line.

Taehyung simply pushed him away and greeted, bowed, and gently passed his ID to the woman, unlike the infamous Jeon Jeongguk, whom he had never heard of in his life. It's not like he needed to know his name in the first place.
