2 months later

''You know, I could have been the one to drive this time." Taehyung puffed, starring outside the car window.

''Hm?" Jeongguk didn't quite hear well.

''You always drive! At least I could have been the one to drive us to my hometown, grandpa." He said it louder and turned around to slightly poke the other.

"The grandpa in question is letting you be a passenger princess, and you're complaining?" The ravenette scoffed, speeding up slightly as he said so. "Besides, I didn't want you scaring me half to death on the road."

Taehyung rolled his eyes; there was a mischievous glint in them. "Scaring you? Please, I'm a fantastic driver. Orr, maybe I could improve if you let me drive."

"Twenty minutes in, and that's when you decide you want to take the lead, huh?" He said, and reached with his right hand to slap a few times his tigh, "Plus, that's my baby. If anything, I should be the one to blame if anything happens."

Taehyung chuckled, glancing at Jeongguk with a playful smirk. "Your baby? Last time I checked, it's a car, not a child. And are you seriously trying to guilt-trip me into letting you drive? Nice try, but it's not happening."

Jeongguk feigned a dramatic sigh. "Already is, baby. Here I am, offering to showcase my impeccable driving skills, and you reject me without a second thought."

He then turned another station on the radio and said, "Just relax, yeah? You couldn't sleep the whole night from nervousness." He said, eyes fixed on the road.

"Can you blame me?" The brunette sighed, "Not only that, I'm seeing my parents, but the whole schedule they made for the month is so fucked up. I'm surprised they let us go away for a few days."

"Yeah, well." He started to rub his throat a few more times. "At least that. I don't want to sound too negative, but these might be my last free days. It's the end of March; June is approaching, so yeah." The driver pressed his lips together. "We are doing good, though."

"Yeah. Fake love turned out better than I thought. Who would have thought that Joonie, Yoongi, and Hoseok would be such geniuses?" Taehyung smiled and opened his phone gallery to look through the videos behind the scenes from both the recording of the song and the music video. "Your father's got a big budget, I must say."

"Can we not talk about our schedules, hm?" With a soft voice, Jeongguk asked. "We're packed these days, record all the time, etc. I just want to spend time with my favourite boy." He turned to look at the boy beside him, but didn't have much choice but to stare for mere seconds before focusing on the road again.

"Not any boy." He pressed his palm against the tattoed hand on his thigh. "Your boyfriend."

"Yes, my boyfriend." Jeongguk mocked and then chuckled, "Rest. Meanwhile, I'll prepare my speech for your parents."

Jeongguk's eyes widened in surprise at Taehyung's revelation, and he couldn't help but let out a nervous chuckle. "Wait, seriously? A poster? What... what kind of poster are we talking about here?"

Taehyung burst into laughter at Jeongguk's flustered reaction. "Relax, Gguk. It's just that teaser photo of us that's uploaded. What else could it be?"

Jeongguk rubbed the back of his neck, a sheepish grin forming on his face. "Well, I guess that's a relief. I was picturing, I don't know, some massive fan shrine or something."
