"Why the fuck is everyone starring?" Taehyung hissed in a disgusted tone, eyeing all the students the same way.

As they strolled, the usual buzz of whispers and sidelong glances followed them. The student body had grown accustomed to the turbulent 'friendhsip' between Taehyung and Jeongguk. The two were like fire and ice, always at odds with each other, trading sharp words and heated glares in the corridors. Yet, here they were, walking together without a hint of animosity.

Their classmates couldn't help but stare, their eyes widening with disbelief. Some exchanged confused glances, while others discreetly pointed fingers. It was as if the laws of nature had been momentarily suspended.

"Here, you see what happens when the best ones hang out together." He chuckled and left Taehyung's hand, since he had to press the button of the elevator.

Taehyung just gulped, not nervously or angrily; he just preferred to stay quiet since silence is the best answer you can give in some situations. This was this kind of situation.

"From so many places in the building you would choose your penthouse? Want to flex or something?"

"Tch tch, I suppose everything I said just fifteen minutes ago is temporarily eliminated from your mind." He said it at the right moment when the doors of the elevator opened.

"You speak too much."

"You know you can always shut my mouth, Kim." Jeongguk's words made the other scoff in disbelief, looking to the opposite side. "Or you just have to open that pretty mouth of yours."

Taehyung immediately looked at him in terrify. "To speak more, of course. What else?"

"You are such a pervert, have you heard it before? I guess you have." He frowned his eyes, putting his hands in pockets of the baggy jeans he was wearing.

"Not going to lie, you really are something, Kim." And right then, they were at the so-called golden floor that Taehyung visited only once, last week. The truth was, there was never such thing as saying that it's forbidden for oustiders to enter this floor. It was available for everyone, and anyone could be invited to each other's dorms. The difference was the size of the dorms, regarding the payment of the student's family. Otherwise, the dorm building was all for the students of the college.

"Aren't you afraid you will ruin your amazing reputation by bringing the outsider here? What if someone sees?" Taehyung scoffed, amazed.

"Let them see." He said it out loud on purpose, on which Taehyung got shocked. "It's not like anyone would dare to do a thing."

And when Jeongguk pushed the door open by typing down his code, Taehyung felt as if he saw stars. Even from the hall, you could tell how expensive it was. "C'mon, who knows when you will have the chance to be in here?"

And when Jeongguk opened the door wide, it revealed an incredible luxury penthouse that made Taehyung see little shiny stars. Even from first sight, you would understand what it is like to be on the other side, the rich one. The spacious living area was adorned with sleek, contemporary furniture, each piece carefully chosen to complement the minimalist aesthetic of the penthouse. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed a breathtaking view of the city below, the twinkling lights of skyscrapers competing with the stars above. It was a sight that made Taehyung see little shiny stars of his own, sparkling in awe.

"Oh, my sweet lord." He whispered, walking slowly over the just-cleaned floor. The smell of new furniture since it was completed just at the beginning of college. And everything in there—the view, mostly—caught his attention.
