Jimin and Yoongi had short conversations while driving back from Jimin's villa the following morning. They had a very tranquil vacation because the villa was located on the outskirts of the city. Jimin was sitting more comfortably with one leg bent, watching Yoongi operate his vehicle.
Yoongi sighed contentedly, ''Jimin, this was a lovely Christmas, but I swear, I think I ate my weight in food.''
''You always do at gatherings, babe. But admit it, you loved every second of it.'' Jimin laughed and pressed his cheek to his knee, starring at the other driving.
''Maybe... just a little.'' The ravenette grinned, ''Your mom's cooking is seriously out of this world. Not only that damn kimchi.''
''Aand she enjoyed all of your compliments.'' He smiled and patted the other's thigh, enough so he doesn't distract him from driving. ''You really putted an unseen charm for her, huh.''
"Whoah, from where is that coming now?" Yoongi said offended, "I was totally natural," as his eyes grew wide and his mouth opened in confusion. Jimin withdrew his hand and gave him a humming sound to indicate understanding.
''I can't wait to get back and just crash in bed.''Feeling the stiffness from the long drive in his shoulders and back, Yoongi attempted to move around his neck.
"You're whining now about the villa my family owns? You little one, didn't you say you didn't want to go back? With a hissed look, Jimin cursed and shifted his gaze to the window.
"No way in hell. You know, when it's your bed, it's different.'' Yoongi drove steadily with one hand while shielding himself with the other. ''You idiot don't you dare play with the wheel like that.''When Jimin saw him making left and right small turns, he instantly turned and looked back to see if anyone was following behind.
Yoongi simply smiled and swung the wheel to get them closer to their dorm's parking. "I enjoy what I do, but I really don't want to start over." Yoongi sighed and glanced over his shoulder while he parked. A sad smile crossed Jimin's face as he realised that he and Hoseok had yet to begin a dancing project together. ''You too have work, no?'' The other asked, as he fully parked.
''Huh? Oh yeah, nearly finished. I have to give Hoseok a call.'' Now that they were on the parking lot, he gave the other a gentle smile. ''What?'' he inquired, but Yoongi bent to kiss his lips, saying, ''You really are pretty, Park Jimin.'' He then opened the door to retrieve their bags.Jimin smiled to himself sweetly. He didn't even do anything but to breathe yet he deserved such a comment by the other.
Jimin and Yoongi both had special occasions this year. Yoongi was invited to celebrate Christmas with Jimin's family for the first time, a gesture that demonstrated the depth of their relationship. As he presented Yoongi to his parents, Jimin couldn't help but feel proud of him; their cordial welcome was evidence of their acceptance.
With a blazing fireplace and luxurious furnishings that encouraged prolonged talks and shared giggles, the villa was a cosy retreat. The sound of carolers filled the halls, and the aroma of a lavish feast filled the kitchen, tempting their senses.
Yoongi was greeted warmly by Jimin's family, who treated him as though he had always been a part of their holiday customs. The table was laid with a spread of delicious foods, all of which had been lovingly prepared by Jimin's mother, who grinned proudly at the happiness her cooking had brought to their visitors.
To the surprise of all, his parents weren't all that traditional. Most likely because his mother's sister, his aunt, was a lesbian with a married life. Or possibly that his parents never disapproved of him practising ballet, a dance that is more commonly performed by girls than by boys. Yoongi, however, seemed to be quite intelligent in front of his parents.
